Rajesh Khanna No more

Comments Off on Rajesh Khanna No more

His gift to India is Kurta – although every star had worn it
before, but it was him who popularized it, especially the shorter version of
Kurta. It was a rage in India. I wore Kurtas in college, had them in several
colors too!

He was also the first one to bring a change in hair style,
partial parting! No one had done that before.

This may come as a surprise to many, he was a good mixer,
most movie stars don’t have religious barriers. He was a great friend of
Veteran comedian Mehmood, whose estate was near my home in Yelahanka,
Bangalore… one Ramadan eid, him, Amitabh and others showed up at the Eid
grounds, and he was in the front row praying along with Mehmood and others in
the celebrations, I was in the third row…. it was sometimes around 1980.

I wrote a tribute on Dev Anand and Shammi Kapoor and I have
to write one for Rajesh Khanna. I completely missed out on Raj Kapoor, Rafi and
Rajendra Kumar, my other favorites. Thank God all my favorite girls are still
around; Waheeda Rahman, Hema Malini, Asha Parekh, Madhuri Dixit and Tanuja.

When Raaz was released, my friends and I had a huge debate
about his future. Is he going to be a super star like Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand,
Rajendra Kumar or Dharmendra…. at that time Amitabh Bachchan was no where…

He was indeed recognized for his talent in Anand and I
believe won the Filmfare Award, and then came Bawarchi. Dushman gave him a good
lift and Aradhana put him on the top while Kati patang beefed up his career
along with Haathi mere Saathi… and Aaya Sawan Jhoom ke.. Andaaz, Daag and
others

The biggest hits were

  • ·
Yahan wahan sare Jahan pay tera raaj hai
  • ·
    Achcha to hum chalte hain
  • ·
chup gaye sare nazare oye kya baat hogayee
  • ·
    chal chal chal mere haathi
  • ·
    Zindagi kaisi hai paheli
  • ·
    baghom may bahaar hai
  • ·
mere sapnon ki raani kab aayegi to
  • ·
zindagi ka safar, hai a kaisa safar
  • ·
    A shaam mastani
  • ·
    A jo mohabbat hai

This was the song we debated on

TEXAS FAITH: Could an atheist be elected president?

Comments Off on TEXAS FAITH: Could an atheist be elected president?
Belief in God does not hold a murderer,
rapist, thief, misogynist, anti-Semitic, gayphobic, Islamophobic, or a racist
from committing the wrong, his morality does, which is a product of living in
harmony with others.
Texas Faith is a weekly column at Dallas
Morning News managed by Editors William McKenzie and Wayne Slater, the material
is contributed by several panelists, for all responses please visit http://religionblog.dallasnews.com/2012/07/texas-faith-could-an-atheist-be-elected-president.html/

Could an atheist be elected president? And
perhaps more to the point: Is it reasonable to hold that a president who
believes in God would do a better job than one who does not?

MIKE GHOUSE, President, Foundation for
Pluralism, Dallas

There was a time, not so long ago, when
fellow Americans were looked down on any one who called himself or herself an
Atheist, as if that person were immoral and carried a contagious disease, and
must be avoided. We have come a long way since then.

When I applied to be a member at
Thanksgiving square in mid nineties, the membership was denied; they did not
have a pigeonhole for an Atheist in an interfaith organization. That led me to
form the Foundation for Pluralism to accommodate and value everyone’s space.
Today, Atheists are a part of every aspect of
the society; however, it was a hilarious moment, when they rejected this
pluralist to be part of their group, because of my belief in God.
We have to do better than this.
At least 30% of the surveyed were comfortable
with Atheists. This number will gradually improve as we realize that morality
is a function of co-existence, rather than a product of religion. Indeed
religion itself found acceptability as it advanced the value of coexistence.
Whether you are theist or an Atheist, you are a contributor and participant in
public morality of the society.
There is a false sense of infidelity to God
among theists that prevents them from accepting people who do not believe in
God.
Is it is reasonable to hold the view that a
president who believes in God would do a better job than one who does not?  No, it is not.
Belief in God does not hold a murderer,
rapist, thief, misogynist, anti-Semitic, gayphobic, Islamophobic, or a racist
from committing the wrong, his morality does, which is a product of living in
harmony with others.
In the United States of the 16%
unaffiliated, 4% identify themselves as Atheist/Agnostics (2007 Pew Survey)
about the same as Jews, Muslims and Hindus combined.
It is the individual’s exposure to the size
of universe that determines one’s open mindedness. An Atheist will be as good a
President as a theist, fanaticism on both ends would be disastrous to the
society.

Deregulation, a case of Libor

Comments Off on Deregulation, a case of Libor

Deregulation is bad for any nation.

Is it the responsibility of the people we have elected to represent
and safeguard the interests of the public at large?  Should the banks and corporations do as they
please under the free market? Have we not learned bad lessons of deregulation?
Now the Libor crisis, i.e., fixing the indexed rates (Libor) on interest among
the bank themselves is leading to the bank failures.

The deciders can go to bloody hell, but should the public bear
the brunt of it?  After all it is public
funds, and public trust in the banks.  Should
the executives be thrown in Jail for the disaster or should they be given
bonuses while the public at large loses?

I am a Republican, and I implore fellow Republicans to
advocate sensible responsible polices, not to hinder business, but not to let
business abuse the freedom. Work with the Democrats for un-deregulating the
banking industry.

Dilip Kumar and Madhubla; a powerful love story

I was the 65th viewer of the this outstanding 33 minutes love
story, it is one of the best real love stories with full range of emotions I have
seen. I do regret that it is not in English or  English subtitles. It is in
Hindustani (Hindi/Urdu) language, the language of Indian Films.
This is a dream come true for guys like me who want to see Indian films
in less than an hour (usually three hours)… if I did not have the passion for Pluralism;
this is what I would have done; to reduce all Indian films to one hour. Here is
the best example of such work.

This is the real love story of two of the greatest movie actors of
Bollywood.  It is incredible work, a
story created from of pieces of different films, reflecting the real love story of Dilip
Kumar and Madhubala.

It is one of  most beautiful love stories  laced with a touch of some of the most
beautiful songs and dialogues, its indeed a hog’s heaven for the people of the
subcontinent.

I had the luxury of spending over three hours with Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, when they were in Dalals, and
subsequently managing his media schedule. I was also their attendent along with Taj Bhai in checking them into the hotel.  We had great philosophical conversations with them, indeed, we talked about Pluralism way back then in the early Nineties. It’s been 18-19 years ago.
I thank the narrator lady Nigar Khan for putting this
together, however, I really wish she had not acted and talked like villainous Bindu in the old Indian movies. I love that set with dim blue gray lighting.

I dropped everything to watch this film, and if you do, please let me know.

Thank you

Watch and enjoy.

Mike Ghouse, watch the
trailer of the film I am making on the website www.AmericaTogetherFoundation.com.
When complete, it is a love story weaved into American Context, making a
patriotic American out of all of us.

Religious Costumes and the temptation to be different

Comments Off on Religious Costumes and the temptation to be different

Do you feel bias towards any of the religious guys, just because what they wear? I hope not, as almost all religious men (and women) make a statement through their clothes, that they are different; they are not among us, but above us.
A sampling of religious costumes, a comprehensive piece is in the making.
The clothing gives them the instant recognition that they are wise men and
women, is that needed? Shouldn’t genuine respect be earned by one’s wisdom and knowledge,
rather than external manifestation?
I am gathering costumes/clothing worn by
religious people in every possible tradition and always wondered, what is the
need to wear clothes that differentiate you?
 Isn’t religion about humility,
where we are all on par with each other?

I am not talking about simplicity in clothes; these are fashion statements,
look at the hats and color theme, the beards….  They are not like us, they are different, and
wear different clothes.

Honestly, if your  Rabbi, Imam, Pundit, Pastor, Clergy, Shaman, or
Gyani, wore clothes like the audience, and gets on the pulpit, how many of you would
give him or her same respect as the one in the costume, regalia?

I have been giving talks (sermons) on pluralism
and religion, and have always wondered should I fashion myself differently than
my congregants?  No, sir/ma’m, I will not
yield to that temptation.

Your “well composed” comments with your express permission will become a quote
in the article I am writing for the Foundation for Pluralism.

for any given situation; sometimes he fails and sometimes finds the solutions. Unless
efforts are made, nothing will change. Pluralism is an attitude of respecting
the otherness of others.  You can find

Is Romney the cat with NAACP or the mouse with NRA

Comments Off on Is Romney the cat with NAACP or the mouse with NRA

http://nabsites.net/demo/is-romney-cat-with-naacp-or-mouse-wi/

The following words are showered on Mr. Romney; bold, honest, tells it like it is, non-compromising on principles. He has only one mouth he speaks from.
During his speech at NAACP, he got booed. Of course, booing goes with public life, so is cheering; after all we are a free people and respond to situations instinctively.
Steve Holland of Reuters writes, “Although several of his lines were greeted with applause, Romney drew waves of boos when he blasted Obama’s record on jobs and the healthcare overhaul that was backed by the president and recently upheld as constitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court.”
The wire continues, “I’m going to eliminate every expensive, non-essential program. That includes Obamacare,” Romney told the crowd of hundreds in a half-filled ballroom. “Sustained boos of more than 10 seconds broke out, and Romney seemed unsettled by the reaction.”

There is other side to it.
Reuters continues, “Was it to court black voters – or to show Romney’s mostly white, conservative base that he could take his message to the heart of the opposition?”
The conservatives on the other hand see him as Rambo, the guy who dares into the enemy territory and comes back unscathed. Hence fund him more!
ABC News reports, “Critics in Obama’s camp charged immediately after the speech that Romney planned to be booed in an effort to charge up Republican voters.”

Romney said, he will give the same message where ever he goes. Really?
Did he say those words because he had nothing to lose? Did he discount the NCAAP group because he had nothing to gain from them? No funds no votes?
Would he be straight forward when he goes to the NRA or AIPAC? Or will he become an appeaser or play mouse?
Should a president do what is right, or what is beneficial to his political aspirations?

Happy Khushali and Happy Imamat day to HH Aga Khan

Comments Off on Happy Khushali and Happy Imamat day to HH Aga Khan

URL – http://nabsites.net/demo/happy-khushali-and-happy-imamat-day-to/

The Aga Khan strongly believes and practices in serving the humanity, as it is a strong component of Islamic tradition called Huqooqul Ibad, the rights of fellow beings. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had said the best among you is the one who sees to it that his neighbor is fed and cared for. Imam Hazrat Ali (ra), the 4th rightly guided Caliph (Leader) who succeeded Prophet Muhammad in providing the leadership to the Muslim community says, “The best man is he who is most serviceable to fellow humans.”

55 Years ago today, His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan was appointed to become the 49th hereditary Imam of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims succeeding his grandfather, Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah Aga Khan III.

Since then, every year on that day and the week around it, the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims celebrate the day called the “Imamat Day” and the week of “Khushali” peace and prosperity. The Imam, in their spiritual tradition of 1400 years is called Hazar Imam, the current Imam.

Per the tradition he interprets the Quraan for daily living to his 15 million plus followers spread out across the world. He has fulfilled his role as the spiritual leader in guiding the community to prosperity and living a responsible life in the societies they live.

In gratitude for his continued guidance, the Ismaili Muslims celebrate this week honoring him and reaffirming his leadership with a renewed commitment to serving the humanity.

One of the sayings of Hazrat Ali that resonates with me on a daily basis is, “A wise man needs each day an hour to set apart in which to examine his conscience, and measure what he has gained or lost”. My Maternal Grandfather Shaikh Hussain used to tell us, “If you attend funeral prayers for each wedding you attend, the contrast will straighten you out to become a humble servant of humanity known as Khaksar.”

Both Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Imam Hazrat Ali (ra) had continuously advocated living in moderation; it’s a mid path between the worldly and spiritual needs. The Aga Khan has fine tuned that balance between living for oneself materially and living for the others spiritually and has founded the Aga Khan Development Network that is committed to serving the humanity without regard to faith, origin or gender. I believe AKDN (http://www.akdn.org/) is one of the largest Non Governmental bodies serving humanity to stand on their own feet.

We wish a very happy Imamat day and Khushali to the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims and blessing of long life to the Hazar Imam HH Karim Aga Khan. Amen!

What is the best Sunnah for Sunni, Shia, Ahmadiyya and other Muslims to follow

Comments Off on What is the best Sunnah for Sunni, Shia, Ahmadiyya and other Muslims to follow

URL:  http://nabsites.net/demo/what-is-best-sunnah-for-sunni-shia/

May God power your thinking
with peace;

This column is in
response to correspondence about Muslims judging other Muslims about their
faith, and yet invoking the same Islam.

The word Kaffir
simply means someone who hides or denies the truth. However, the usage of the
word has been derogatory.  It’s like the
“N” word.   You have your preference and mine is not to
use the word at all in general conversation without this understanding.  The Prophet did not use it as a derogatory
word, but simply meant that those people who did not agree with his version of
the truth as an identifier. (Refer to Sura Kafirun – Prophet’s language
should be taught as course in civil dialogue)

The Ahmadiyya are
Muslims, as they believe in the God, like every other Muslim believes;
furthermore, their pledge of allegiance, the Shahadah is same as all other
Muslims – La Ilaha Illal Lahu, Muhammadar Rasool Allah. We should be minding
our own business rather than worrying about others.

No one is responsible
for others burden, you stand alone on the day of accountability of your
actions. No one will be there for you; you have to take the responsibility for
your actions. Let each one of our tribes, and other faiths from the family of
faiths do their best. The best ones among all of us would be the ones who care
for neighbors, and respect God’s creation and those who work towards restoring
harmony, just as God had created the world to be.

Division is natural
among all people, there is a magical number beyond which all groups split, and
Islam is no different. First it was Shia and Sunni, then among Shia there are
many, and Sunni also got split into numerous groups beyond our imagination.
Then Ahmadiyya has three or four divisions and as we grow in size, each one of
our groups will further split… now we have progressive Muslim group in the last
few years, there will be more.

Prophet Muhammad
prophesized about the division, it is a natural phenomenon (fitra) and he used
the number 72/73 tribe, this number is not a real number, and it’s a number to
mean multiplicity.  Imagine the class
room where the teacher urges every on to be the best, and there will be only
one first rank and most others pass in varying degrees and one or two may fail.
A few Ulema have interpreted this to mean only one tribe will go to Jannah and
others to hell and shamefully this has been perpetuated without questioning it.
How wrong can we be? We have to learn to respect the otherness of other without
having to agree.

Let Sunnis, Shias,
Ahmadi and their branches all practice Islam as they are taught, let’s not
become God and judge others, instead we need to judge ourselves  and be the best human we can. But for God’s
sake let’s not call each other with disrespect, would that be a Muslim thing to
do?
What can we judge? We
can judge the acts that affect our social life – like lying, stealing, robbing,
hurting family members or breaking the contracts and messing with social
cohesiveness (a dynamic value).
What can we not
Judge? One’s faith, period! It is between God and the individual. Only God will
judge how much of a Muslim you were in your heart. When God says he is closer
to than our jugular vein, it means he knows everything we do, think and discard.
No one bears others burden, Islam is about individual responsibility and free
will. There is no compulsion in matters of faith.

The first word
Prophet Muhammad received was Iqra, the broader meaning of which is read to
understand, understand to think and think to create a better world for you and
for others around you.
If you would like me to speak about the
Prophet and his role in creating a better world, I will be happy to do that.  It is nothing new; it is from the existing 15
stories that we talk about in every Mosque and probably every Muslim will tell
those little and big stories. What we need to do is Iqra it, think about his examples from a pluralistic perspective. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and
every prophet were committed to create cohesive societies where people got
along with each other and lived without the apprehension or fear of the other.
What is our role in the world? Isn’t it
to mitigate conflicts and nurture goodwill and give back to God, what he
created; a perfect world in harmony? Isn’t that what serving God means?
Remember the first model of the prophet? He was called Amin, the
trustworthy, the truth seeker and the honest. Guess who honored him that title?
It was not Muslims.  It’s a model for us
to follow. Let you and I become like him, earn the respect of every human on
the earth, with malice towards none, and with love for all of God’s creation.
Would you want to be the Amin? To be
Amin, we have to use the civil language and earn the trust of all Muslims, and all
other people on the earth.  When people
see a Muslim, their first response ought to be – here comes a Muslim, I can
trust this man or woman, he/she will tell the truth, is trust worth and
everything he or she will do is for every one’s good.
Isn’t that the best Sunnah to follow?
Jazak Allah Khair

Muslims Together building a cohesive
world
NOTE: Following is the conversation on
the net between several people. It is posted at www.WorldMuslimCongress.org and at WorldMuslimCongress@yahoogroups.com

Mike Thanks for your efforts in bringing community together, but
the problem is that people misunderstood the word “Kafir”
The word “Kafir” is an Arabic word and derived from
“Kufer” which has to fold meaning:
1- To “Disbelieve”
2- To call “Lair” to some one saying a Truth which you
do not believe.
The Holy Book Quran repeatedly used the word Kafir for all those
who deny the Prophet-hood of all Prophet sent by Allah The Almighty.
The debate will never finish, as it was there at the time of Adam,
Nova, Abraham, Moses & Essa, and also at the time of our beloved Prophet
Muhammad (swa) and still exist in our time
I think we should agree with and follow the foot steps of Prophet
Muhammad (swa) when he recited the verses of Surat Al-Kafiroon (chapter 109)
before the leaders of “Kuffar-e-Makkah”
As Mike Ghouse has said earlier ‘We have to learn to believe in
Rabbul Aalameen’ and follow the teachings of Rahmatul Aalameen(swa).
Please spread the message of Allah the Almighty on your own way as
mentioned in Holy Quran. “You are responsible for your own DEED” in
front of Allah The Almighty, and you will not be asked for what others do.
May Allah Bless you all.

AA

Inam Bhai,

You have a very
legitimate argument.
However, you may
consider not using the derogatory language towards someone, who is admired by
millions around the world. Isn’t it Islamic to talk with respect? Take a look
at one of the most beautiful Suras in conducting a civil dialogue in Quraan- http://quraan-today.blogspot.com/2008/07/sura-kafirun-un-believers.html
Why are we so bent on
proving “qadianis / ahmadi / mirzai / lahoris” wrong? On the Day of
Judgment are you and I responsible for anyone other than you and me
respectively? Doesn’t Allah say no one will bear the burden of others?
If you are concerned
about protecting the Deen – hasn’t Allah taken that responsibility? Do we want
to become partners with him in that business?

Do we want to go against the prophecy of the Prophet that eventually his Ummah
will be split in too many tribes, and that many was a metaphoric number of 72
or 73. No one will go to hell, until the Day of Judgment, and none of the
tribes will be thrown in to hell as long as they recite the Shahadah, do their
prayers and Zakat, Hajj is an option.

Allah’s wisdom is
rich – when he says, the noblest among you are the ones who know each other,
meaning conflict and diversity is given, but when you know each other, and
accept them as God’s creation, then conflicts fade and solutions emerge. He is
the only one to recompense for the good we do. The “qadianis / ahmadi / mirzai
/ lahoris” are doing good in the communities they live, and serving God’s
creation, and Allah will not be happy with them or anyone who does care for the
neighbor.
Let’s accept each
other. You fight back when someone throws you out of your house, messes with
your family or steals your food, breaks the contracts with you; otherwise, let
others do what they do. You and I don’t own Islam, it is not our property to
begin with, and we follow one version of it, because it works for us.
The above words are not
mine, its all in Quraan.
Jazak Allah Khair

Just wait any one to claim to be a mahdi, or prophet or bla bla and believe
that same is already provisioned in this pity religion. Islam’s lap is open to
any view you add. Let any one allow to do the modification work to islam.

Whoever sees light of guidance in Quran and Sunnah, must raise his voice for
sake of truth. If 73 liars claiming prophethood could not secure this holy
place in islam, how do we accept it for one-eyed liar of qadiyan, who didn’t
posses ANY of the qualities that Allah’s messangers should possess, although
with any qualities, he couldn’t be accepted as prophet.

Just close your eyes and this afternoon, instead of getting your sick kids to
an established doctor, get them checked from a plain hakim who would lack any
desired knowledge and who would apply contradicting medicine. Am sure you will
not do it as that is matter of life of your kids not of religion.

Pluralism should be sought but going that much behind so as to negate what is
right and what is wrong is petty *sense.

If you are not convinced of that, just go through whole literature of one-eyed
liar Mirza Ghulam Qadiani and his followers, and decide yourselves if a limit
has been left untouched by qadiani devils.

The holy things you see in qadianis / ahmadi / mirzai / lahoris is the part of
islam they follow, and what you ignore is the damage they impart to foundations
of islam.

Pray for divine guidance of all (which for sake of clarification shall not be
given through a one- eyed liar or mahdi, but from quran and sunnah).

Brother Rashid Jahangiri Sahib;
I am glad to see your
note, and I have seen a similar note from the other Ahmadiyya Muslims as well.
If you read my note, I said, ” If Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad calls you or
me a Kafir, we don’t become one, do we? However, as I understand, he meant
those who disagreed with him”
It appears that some
one has cooked it up to malign one or the other. We need to resist the
temptations to put down any one without knowing it first hand, or an
announcement from their religious leader, all other notes stand the chance of
not being the truth.
Alhamdu Lillah, I
have attended the conferences of both AM and LAM groups, one in Pennsylvania
last year, and the other in Columbus Ohio a few weeks ago and I admire both the
groups for the good work they are doing towards making the world a better
place.
Three Questions:
1. Can you pray
behind any Muslim Imam?
2. Will you consider all others, equally valid, divine traditions?
3. Will you withdraw
calling others Kafir?
We have to learn to
believe in Rabbul Aalameen, Rahmatul Aalameen and us to be Mukhlookhul aalameen
and make our religion to accommodate and absorb all the differences. don’t
worry about what others do or don’t, be the leader take the step and declare –
we are all Muslims and we have the responsibility to create a better world for
every one of God’s creation and see how close you get to God. Amen

As-Salaam Alaikum,
Brother Mushtaq,

May you be drenched in peace and think and act peace.

You are not a Kafir,
no matter who says it, only Allah decides that, not now, but on the Day of
Judgment, giving time and room for people. What we as a society decide is if
you steal, rob, loot, rape and break contracts with people.
If Hazrat Mirza
Ghulam Ahmad calls you or me a Kafir, we don’t become one, do we? However, as I
understand, he meant those who disagreed with him. I have asked the Ahmadiyya
Jamaat (http://worldmuslimcongress.blogspot.com/2012/03/draft-proposal-to-ahmadiyya-muslims-on.html)
to
clarify it, and I have asked them to join me for Iftaar in every
Mosque of every Muslim denomination and do the Namaaz (salat) behind the
respective Imam, when they do that, we can put the matter to the rest.
However, a few groups
are out there like some in Ahle-sunnat, some among Shias, and some among Sunnis
who will not pray in other mosques.. shame on all those who refuse to pray in a
mosque, Allah’s house. It is my Niyya(t) and not the Niyya of the Imam that
matters to me and Alhamdu Lillah, I have prayed in every Mosque (http://Ramadanexclusive.blogspot.com )
Would you rather listen to Allah?

This is what Allah says, ” Do not curse others, lest, they turn around and
curse you” There is a magical wisdom in it – when Prophet Muhammad was
pelted with stones on his way to Taif – did he curse them back? When Jesus says
turn the other cheek, he means, do not aggravate the conflict, indeed, all the
prophets, messengers and peace makers have said the same thing and have
practiced it.
The role of a Muslim
is to mitigate the conflicts and nurture goodwill to create peace for all of
God’s creation. http://worldmuslimcongress.blogspot.com/2012/01/mission-of-world-muslim-congress.html
I listen to Allah and
Muhammad and I will not condemn any one, I will pray for them, would you do the
same? You have to rise above the common fallacies, would you do that? Let’s get
the hell out of mediocrity and do positive things… when some one meets you or
me, they should think, he is a Muslim, a man I can trust, a man who tells the
truth, a man who is not petty, a man who is good to all of God’s creation.
Would you be that
Muslim?

Brother Mike Ghouse said very rightly
to condemn everyone who issues Fatwa of Kufar against others. Qadiani Khalifa
2 Mirza Mahmud Ahmad and his brother Mirza Bashir Ahmad and their followers
declare EVERYOTHER MUSLIMS INCLUDING LAHORI-AHMADIS AS KAFIR. Now question is
if Mike Ghouse impresses us by condemning all such bigots.
Thanks

Assalamo Alaikum WW
Yes you are very
right. No one no matter what his position is, be he an Imam of Kaaba, Imams of
Khatme-Nabuwwat, Khalifas of Qadiani Ahmadies, especially their Musleh Maud (
Khalifa Sani ) or their Qamrul Anbiyya ( Brother of Khalifa Sani of Ahmadies )
,Lahori Ahmadies Amirs of Mufties of various Muslim denominations or sects have
no GODDAMNED right to take the place of Allah SWT, kick Him from His Throne and
started issuing Fatwas of Kufar against fellow Muslims and kick them out of
pale of Islam by declaring them or labelling them as KAFIR, be they Sunnis,
Wahabies, Shias, Barelvies, Deobandies, Ahmadies ( Qadianies or Lahories ) Let
us all condemn all those Ulemas who gave such Fatwa-e-Kufar against fellow
Muslims. All those issuers of Fatwas of Kufar are Cursed by Allah SWT and
promised by Him Everlasting Hell.
We are all Muslims by
the Grace of Allah SWT.
MUSHTAQ MALIK

So ahmed Ismail, when
did you kick Allah out of his throne and took over from him? Are you Allah, the
master of the day of judgement?
No one has goddamned
right to judge another persons faith, it’s between Allah and the individual.
You are not God and
you should not be judging who is Muslim or not.

We have seen Mullahs hiding under the burqa in the past and now we see some one
among us also doing the same shameless trick.
Let us be really ashamed for this Hijdas act.

Any way, as regards to the allegation of Ahmadies being British agent, replies
in very much indetail were given so many times before and it need not be
repeated again.

But, I want to ask a simple question.
Who could be a British agent?. The peple like you who holds the same belief of
these Britishers ( Christians ) whose belief is that, Jesus ( Isa -as ) is
above Muhammad Rasululla (sa) due to his superior qualities or Ahmadies, who
sitting right in their middle and claim that their God-Jesus is dead and buried
in Kashmir in India.?

Further, by boldly preaching the truth of Islam to every individual there and
slowly converting their churches and Synagogues in to Mosques where Allah
Towhid is broad casted continuously. Is this the way to become agent for
Britishers? Shame on you,

Is it not a shame for a country which gave such an

Texas Faith – God and religion have gone missing in the presidential race?

Comments Off on Texas Faith – God and religion have gone missing in the presidential race?

http://nabsites.net/demo/texas-faith-god-and-religion-have-gone/

Is our electoral process
better off without the polarizing issues of faith-based politics at center
stage? Or does the absence of explicit moral and religious expression
impoverish our political debate? Our Texas Faith panel weighs in:
Texas Faith is a weekly column at Dallas Morning News managed by
Editors William McKenzie and Wayne Slater, the material is contributed by
several panelists including Mike Ghouse, for all responses visit http://religionblog.dallasnews.com/2012/07/texas-faith-is-it-good-or-bad-that-god-and-religion-have-gone-missing-in-the-presidential-race.html/
MIKE GHOUSE, President,
Foundation for Pluralism, Dallas

Absence
of faith will not impoverish political debate; in fact, it will enrich it with
a focus on the most important economic need of the day: jobs.
Congress,
Senate or the President is not in the business of establishing or supporting a
religion; their responsibility is to be a catalyst and serve Americans in the
pursuit of their happiness and economic freedom.
Faith
should not be a factor in this election, as both parties stand to lose; the
Democrats worry about the Catholic vote and the GOP stands to lose if they make
an issue out of Romney’s faith, it would mean back peddling.
Social
issues will be played out by the Democrats; the anti-GLBT-abortion-immigration
stance of GOP will be a fodder to the Democrats.  The CBS poll in May
discovered that 62% of Americans “believe that same-sex unions should be
recognized by law.”   While we remain divided on abortion, Romney
cannot afford to flip flop on immigration.
GOP
may not even succeed in carving up an enemy out of Sharia. First of all,
American Muslims are not asking for it, and secondly it will not pass the House
and Senate, let alone the president signing it. Democrats will hit them hard
for squandering public time on a non-existent issue.
GOP’s
chorus about repealing Obama care on the first day in office will fall flat on
its face, unless both the houses and the Presidency is Republican. The
Republicans would risk losing votes of the young people benefiting from
insurance coverage of their parents.
As
a disclosure, I am Moderate Republican, and when I posted a note on Facebook
and my blog congratulating fellow Americas upon Judge Roberts’s decision, an
incredible number of Republican men and women came out of the closet and
appreciated the decision. Thus we have Obama Republicans now.
Absence
of faith talk will not be missed, our nation is operating on Maslow’s hierarchy
theory, and Jobs is our priority, food is more necessary than faith, and abuse
of religion for politics may not work this time.
I
hope the debates remain focused on economy, and for entertainment they can
resort to Presidential dogs, vacations, Kissing Children, pipe line, fund
raising and the price of rice in China.

Unfounded fears about Muslims on the net

Comments Off on Unfounded fears about Muslims on the net

I have been responding to mass hysteric emails in circulation from time to time.
Indeed, it is a business to the few who have found gains by the anti-Islamic
rhetoric, and as a peace maker, my role is to mitigate conflicts and nurture
goodwill and continue to separate the myths from reality.

Here
is one from PAB with a comment and six questions. I
have dealt with Robert Spencer, Ali Sina, Nonie Derwish, Wafa Sultan, Geert
Wilders and several others and will be happy to take on any
one.

PAB:
I believe our country has 2 great dangers that we have to face. One is the
devaluation of our currency. The other is the Islamic/Muslim religion. Muslims
will take over the world by sheer numbers. PAB

Ghouse:
Muslims have no desire to take over the world, a few radicals do, for every
damned radical Muslim; there is an equal and matching radical Christian, radical
Jew and a Radical Hindu. The problems are between the fear mongers and the
radicals, and not between Muslims and Christians, Jews and Christians or Hindus
and Muslims or any other combination. No
group is free from men choosing to malign others.

An
overwhelming majority of any group of people want to get along with everyone and
mind their own business; work, family, education, home and retirement. They have
no time to mess with other people’s lives. The extremists are driven by phobias,
nightmares and insecurities, and they are in every race, religion and ethnicity
and fortunately these potent few are less than One tenth of one percent of each
group.

If
someone is willing to put all these phobias together, we can have a conference
to address them all instead of living in
conspiracies.

Google
anything you want, you will find the answers.

PAB:
Have
you ever been to a Muslim hospital?

Ghouse:
Although Muslims have been around in the states much before Columbus, most of
them (2/3rds) are here in less than two decades, and less than a few thousand
have been around for a long time as slaves.

The
immigrants are still trying to get established, once they reach that point, they
will contribute more than their share to the well being of this nation as an
expression of gratitude. However, in
Dallas, where I am from, there are three free clinics run by Muslims for
Americans (open to all Americans without discrimination) who do not have
insurance. Similar clinics are in Houston and other Cities.

They also
hold free mammograms and other health screening services in neighborhoods for
free.

Last
year 11,880 Pints of blood was donated by Muslims on the anniversary of
9/11.

PAB: Have you heard a
Muslim orchestra?

Ghouse:
There are two country singers who are Muslim. However India’s or Bollywood’s ace
music directors are Muslim. The most Indian Classical Music Maestros are again
Muslims. Muslims will do their share of contribution in America, as the
2nd generation finds their way out. I know many young Muslims who are
teaching Music.

PAB: Have you seen a
Muslim band march in a parade?

Ghouse:
Not yet, but there are no Sikh, Hindu, Baha’i, Zoroastrian bands either. I am
not sure if there is a Jewish band. Why do the bands have to carry a religious
banner? Have you seen a Catholic Band, Baptist Band or an Evangelical Band? If
there is high school band, there Muslims as well people from all
faiths.

PAB: Have you witnessed
a Muslim charity?

Ghouse:
There are many, IRF – Islamic Relief Fund is one of the biggest one, they were
given the full status to serve along Red Cross in Katrina and Tsunami, and they
have earned high ratings among charitable institutions. Humanity First and Aga
Khan Foundation and several other Charitable institutions operate.

One of
the things about Muslims is that they believe Charity is not for display, when
you help someone, you do it quietly. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) shared the wisdom
of this idea; when you give charity to someone, let no one know about except
you, the recipient and God. It will humiliate the recipient, if you tell someone
that you helped him, preserve the dignity of the man. It’s
not only Muslims; there are donors in every faith tradition, who do not want to
be known.

Have you seen
Muslims, shaken hands with Muslim Girl Scouts?

Ghouse:
If you come out of the shell, you can see. They are working towards it, but if
it is their tradition not to shake hands with another man, let them, learn to
respect their tradition. Orthodox Rabbis don’t shake hands with women, just as
the Imams don’t do it. It’s a tradition one must respect. I am sure you and I
have some practices that may be considered uncouth by others, but you and I
don’t mean to be uncivil.

PAB: Have you seen a
Muslim do anything that contributes positively to the American way of
life????

Ghouse: Absolutely, how big a record do you
want?

There are many major donations at the Universities to further
education. Volunteers from the groups I have mentioned can be deployed in
emergencies at any given time; they will travel with their own
monies.

I
will list a few that I am involved with, but if you combine the list of all
Muslims, you might be surprised and eliminate this question from circulation.
I am providing the links; you can open
and read the work Muslims are contributing towards the well being of
America.
