Veterans Day Parade, Meadowmere Park

Comments Off on Veterans Day Parade, Meadowmere Park

The Veterans Day Parade was organized by Kathleen Thompson at 3000 Meadwomere Park on Lake Grapevine and there was Brunch following that.

Throughout
my public life, I have rarely missed honoring our Veterans, every speech I
give, including the Pluralism prayers that I offer at City Halls and in public
places, I usually end up saluting our Veterans and honoring our men and women
in uniform committed to defend, and willing to risk their lives to safeguard
our freedom.  I even dedicated the Muslim
festival of sacrifice, Eid Al-Adha for them at http://nabsites.net/demo/feeback-on-police-on-eid-in-louisville/
my own brother in Law Noor Mohamed is a veteran in India and have always had respect
for his service.
It
is Ironic that I have taken pictures of LBJ Freeway, with no car on it, I bet
it has never happened in its 40 year history,  and the same goes with ramp off Hwy 121
veering off into 114. After that joy of no traffic, I take wrong exits and go
in endless circles to reach 3000 Meadwomere Park, when everyone was gone. Guess
what? I did to not check the event in full, I could have gone for the brunch
after that. Its bloody arrogance that I know my Metroplex well, that I did not
use my GPS, I just winged it, and did not make it in time.
Kathleen
Thompson had organized the event and invited to the parade. Kathleen is a
rising star in Democratic politics, she is a remarkable volunteer, she was at
the Election Night Rally and she was at final debate watch event at Angelica
Theater. From what I am learning about her, she speaks her mind and that is in
short supply. I pray she pursues and succeeds in politics.
On
my part, I am a moderate Republican and a moderate Muslim committed to a build
a pluralistic America where every American (eventually) feels at home in every
situation and in every place , and I do. I am comfortable in a Temple,
Synagogue, Pagans, Church, Mosque, Wicca, Native America and every human God
has created with full respect. I am home with Democrats, Republican and
Libertarians – as I have to respect the otherness of other and accept the God
given uniqueness of each one of the 7 billion of us on this planet.

Sher Suleman Bless you, Mike; I sure am pleased to be remembered by an exalted and an inspiring humanitarian. I am learning to grow in your footsteps. However, I wouldn’t have missed that ‘Brunch’; I really felt sorry for you! Profound regards.

Col Yogeshwar Dayal Thank you very much Mike, for having remembered those who spent their yesterday in defending the borders of their country… it is because you have a clean and sincere heart… which pumps such emotions as well in your mind… I appreciate your determination that inspite of all the odd situations…… you made the event going..Please accept my sincere regards from the bottom of my heart… God bless you…!!

President Barack Obama – II Term

Comments Off on President Barack Obama – II Term

This will be a list of articles I will be writing including a few short notes and graphics on President Obama during his 2nd term. I wrote 64 pieces through the first term.

Obama is one true Pluralist I have known, and I am inspired by him and over the last four years, he speaks what I write.. let me correct myself, when I know an event is coming up, I write a piece, and within a few days he speaks many things from that piece.

The second terms begins with his acceptance speech on Tuesday November 6, 2012.   Take a reading of my piece,  that I wrote and got published in Dallas Morning News by 5:oo PM, four hours before they started counting the votes.

Day 3, Friday, November 9, 2012

Great demonstration of leadership, he said, “I have got the pen, ready to sign” and concluded, “Let’s get to work”.  This is the kind of language that gets the work done, if the Republican congress acts out of pettiness (Senator Mitch McConnell), he has to go to the American public and tell them precisely who is placing the hurdles, and get them to call the congress to get their act together or get the hell out of the way.  I do believe with his inclusive approach, the Republicans will place America first. It is about time. Obama has got to be assertive and aggressive to get us out of the situation.

Hello Mike; salaam;

I was wondering if you would be available this coming
Friday 11/9/2012 at 9 am Pacific (11 am Texas) to talk with me on my radio show
Voices of the Middle East about President Obama’s second term in the office
especially as it relates to the Middle East and Muslim Americans in the states,
what prospects do you see now that he is not limited to election commitments and
concerns. You have been on my show once before, it is online at www.voicesofthemiddleeast.com in case you want to check the
flavor of it. I am thinking of talking live perhaps 20 to 30 minutes.

Thank God, day 1 passes without Chaos

Two response to two questions on the day after, follow this graphic;

  1. Can a soldier trust Obama
  2. Mr. Flournoy’s oped in Lufkin Times and my response on the day after

    • Ken Scarborough Mike…please tell me….honest question…why my beloved grandson who is now in the military should give Obama one ounce of trust as his Commander in Chief….real question.
    • Mike Ghouse Ken Scarborough,

We have worked together and we have a relationship. I care about your Grandson, and have taken the time time to respond as best as I can to assure him that he serving the nation is the right thing to do.

You grandson has every reason to trust President Obama; the Commander in chief, let me share two choices:

What happened in Benghazy is pathetic and tragic. Obama has promised to get those criminals and he will get them, as he did Bin Laden and Awalaki.

Obama operates on the age old philosophy, that Mother Teresa talked about and another saint yeons ago had said, if you want the enemy gone, talk with them, make friends, they will be gone for good, if you fight, both of you will be fighting for generations. No one will be at peace.

Unlike Bush, who bombed the heck out of Iraq, sacrificed 5000 of our soldiers, millions of the others, destroyed the other nations and completely messed up our economy – he piled up $10 trillion in debt where as President Clinton had left with a balanced budget.

Obama is doing the right thing, he got Bin Laden without collateral damage, no American or Pakistani or Yemeni was killed, and no display of hate followed that, and he has pulled the troops out of Iraq and will do the same in Afghanistan.

Please share this with your grandson, if you agree with it, Obama is for safety of our soldiers, he values their life and brings them back home, he will not antagonize the wars, and do the mindless bombing, but surgically get the bad guys without invoking revenge seeking from the bombed. He will not even kill our soldiers to kill the Iranians – neither will be killed but the job will be done.

When you grandson returns, he has the best veteran’s package ever, thanks to Obama’s commitment to treat those who fight for our liberties. Obama cares for the veterans and he will do more than any other president has done. You son will be proud of serving this president.

Obama’s foreign policy must be admired.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mike-ghouse/chaotic-romney-and-stable-obama_b_1998900.html

Ken, Republican’s baseless hate for Democrats should not cause them to denigrate the president nor hesitate giving him the credit.

Scott Braddock – Your intro surprises me

I wish you had not said, “the greatest op-ed”
ever penned. Mr. Flournoy, has expressed his opinion as he saw it with his
limited vision, and we need to acknowledge and respect it, but not accept
it.  If you would like me to write a full
rebuttal, I will be happy to do that.

Obama has actually restored the freedom to the nation. A
woman can choose what she can do with her body to abort or not to abort, no
conservative GD government should tell her or what to do …to prevent her from
having her freedom.

Let the GLBT live their lives, in pursuit of their
happiness, Obama brought liberation to them, rather Obama has restored the
spirit of our constitution, those right wingers wanted to tell whom you can
marry or not…

What is insurance? A capitalistic instrument to spread
the risk… taxation is no different, a capitalistic instrument to uplift those
who are in the ditches, an investment to convert them into consumers, so we can
grow the economy…. the cost of emergency room is far greater than bringing
health security to America.

The right wing hate for democrats should not make them
overlook their flaws… and say things that don’t make sense.

Scott, the good news is, I am committed to bring
moderation, common sense and pluralistic attitudes to the Republican Party, I
will do my share and have begun the process. It’s all at
www.TheGhousediary.com, I am a Republican, a moderated one who voted for Obama,
like million other Republicans who are sick of the takeover of our party by the
extremist elements.

Need I go further?  Foreign policy?.
Mr. Flourmoy is not fully informed.

Republican Party and Mike Ghouse

Comments Off on Republican Party and Mike Ghouse

Republican party and Mike Ghouse’s commitment
URL http://nabsites.net/demo/republican-party-and-mike-ghouse/

I have been a Republican for nearly 25 years and will remain one. There is not a
day, I have not been questioned for being a Republican, many simply cannot
fathom that a guy like me with an inclusive pluralistic attitude can be a
Republican.

Yes, I am a Republican, a
moderate one, like the majority of us in every group. The few loud mouths in my
party do not represent the central values of the party. Some one even said,
“they will not allow you to speak up”. My response was who is they? The party is
open to every one, it is my party as much as it is Carl Rove’s
party.

Despite the problems I may
face as I embark on the journey of putting the party back on the right track, to
represent Americans, not just one homogenous group, but every American, I will
not let any one harass me and I will not put up with any one’s rants.

Those of
you who are not Republicans, do sincerely wish that the party drops its
anti-stance on women, gays and lesbians, atheists, Muslims, Hindus, immigrants
and others, and wish a softening of their attitudes towards African Americans.
Unless some one speaks up, how do you expect the change? There are better
speakers than me, and that is good news, together we all can restore the party
to be the party of the people.

To the skeptics, I am not a
token, nor will I ever be. I earn my place where I want, rather than a easy way
out elsewhere. I am committed to do my share of work and leave the results to
the good energy.

I believe in the original
ideals of the party. Carl Rove, Michelle Bachman, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich,
Rudy Guiliani, John McCain, Tim Pawlenty and Paul Ryan do not represent the
central values of the party, they are Republicans alright, but on the far
right.

I am more like Chris Christie, Arnold Schwartznegger, Collin
Powell, Joe Scarborough, and John Huntsman kind of Republican. I am searching
for these folks to build a coalition to bring the Republican party to the
center, to represent the values of most Americans.

Since the lies that led to the Iraq war, I have not
been kind to President Bush or Vice President Dick Cheney. There are many who
are not kind to them, and many a Republicans have given them a free pass, which
should not have happened. I am not kind to John McCain either. If you don’t
agree, welcome to the world of freedom of speech. You have a right to curse me
or chew me out, but I expect you to give me facts and not bullshit.

I am
as committed as you are, to have the party represent an average American. Our
approaches are different, but the goal is same. I don’t typically agree with
Guilliani, but he said something right today – that the party should mind its
own effing business and keep out of the bedrooms, to that I would add, keep out
of the vaginas and religion as well. Let freedom prevail.

This is my index page, and I
will be listing all the articles and my speeches that I wrote in the last few
years with a an abstract summary and the link. I will list as many as I can
find… It may take me a few weeks to pull them all together. I have just opened
this inded today. November 8, 2010.

Our mission is to encourage individuals to develop an
open mind and an open heart toward their fellow beings. If we can learn to
respect the otherness of other and accept the God (or Genetic) given uniqueness
of each one of us, then conflicts fade and solutions emerge. Pluralism is an
enhanced version of interfaith, in that, it is inclusive of Atheist, Humanistic
and non-God centered traditions. Although Interfaith is getting to be inclusive,
but the connotation is, it is about faith in God. Pluralism is complete embrace
of humanity with no exclusion. If you breath and believe in certain things,
welcome to the world of Pluralism.

Holocaust and Genocides
www.HolocaustandGenocides.com http://holocaustandgenocides.blogspot.com/

We have to learn and to acknowledge and reflect upon the
terrible things we have inflicted upon each other and have to commit to
ourselves to resist the temptations to be prejudiced and stereotype others. We
cannot demand peace unless we are peaceful ourselves. Our safety hinges on the
safety of others around us, and it behooves us to work for the safety and
security of others on this little planet. We have to be continuously aware of
the Holocaust and Genocides and prepare us to avert such
tragedies.

It is a purposeful event to
bring Americans together. This is the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, from
this day forward we hope to effect the change to make this UNITY DAY USA become
a symbol of unity among Americans. On this Unity Day, we the people of the
United States of America of every faith, race, ethnicity, culture and background
will gather to express our commitment to co-existence, unity, prosperity and
well being of our nation. It is an initiative to come together to stand up for
the safety, security and cohesiveness of America.

Thanksgiving Celebrations

The purpose of celebrating this event is to thank God for helping us
learn to accept, respect and appreciate each other’s uniqueness and;

1.
Give thanks for the blessed life we all enjoy in these United States of
America.
2. Celebrate the diversity of God’s creation and enjoying the
cultural heritage of each ethnic group.
3. Appreciate and recognize
outstanding volunteers in each community.
4. Gather together as Immigrant
Americans with naturally born Americans in celebrating this wonderful
holiday.
5. For many of the immigrants it is an introduction to the American
way of life.

Hate
Sermons

http://hatesermons.blogspot.com/
The
purpose of this blog is to make ourselves aware of those who peddle hate for a
buck. They don’t care for Islam, Israel, America, Conservative values, their God
is money! These men are born to sell hate for cash, and as long as there are
suckers out there, these parasites grow and enrich themselves and probably laugh
at the nincompoops for falling prey to them.

Terrorism
counter
http://terrorismcounter.blogspot.com/

Terrorism is as much a product of the
society as religion, politics and peace. No one has a right to take the life of
another human being, and nothing would ever justify killing. We condemn all
terrorism unequivocally and add that, Religion is never the cause of Terrorism .
We take a principle stand on this blog.
Although religion receives a bad rap, religion is not the cause of terrorism.
Terrorism is present in every society. No society is free from it and we need to
quit blaming any one and find solutions. To err is human. Terrorists come
from all name brands; Atheist, Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish,
Native Indians, Native Africans, Sikh, Shinto, Tao or Zoroastrian. Again, it is
not the religion, it is the insecure individual with that brand name. We have a
choice to blame the entire group and cause more friction and more terrorism on
our part, or isolate the criminals and punish them.

We

honest, sincere and fair, although his record is marred with bigotry. We hope he

other. If he does, the American people will not put up with it, as they have
done that time and again. I trust our system and our people who have stood up
against Vietnam War, Iraq war and supported abortion and civil rights and one of
these days’ rights for GLBT and every American.

CIVIL SOCIETIES:

Presently, under Civil Societies we
have Nine (9) Blogs with a singular theme of building cohesive societies.

Americans
together

www.AmericaTogetherFoundation.com

we are pleased to announce the launch of America Together
foundation, committed to building a cohesive America. The organization will
focus on bringing Americans together with a series of educational programs to
address the critical issues facing our nation in an open forum to find
pluralistic solutions to restore the cohesiveness of our society and work
towards building a safe and secure America. No American has to live in
anxieties, discomfort or fear of the other.
Standing up for
others
http://standingupforothers.blogspot.com/

It is
inspiring to see those who stand up for others.Standing up for others is the
right thing to do, every human goes through a period of invincibility to
vulnerability, if we don’t stand up for those who are vulnerable, then who will
stand up for us when we are vulnerable?

I have a dream, a
dream to strengthen the pluralistic values of America, and the desire to
encourage the community of nations to review our values of Liberty, Justice and
co-existence as catalysts for prosperity. No community or a nation can have
undue advantages over others. Such benefits are temporary and deleterious to
lasting peace. We have to maintain a healthy balance within our communities and
with all nations, what is good for America, has got to be good for the world and
vice versa.

Israel
Palestine dialogue

http://israel-palestine-dialogue.blogspot.com/

The
real threat to the peace process between Israel and Palestine stems from their
inability to look at their own policies critically. It is time to quit blaming
and start finding solutions. Damn it, the leaders ought to be ashamed of them if
they cannot look in the eyes of Palestinian and Israeli Children and commit to
give them a better life. The leaders need to learn that, they cannot have peace
and security when they keep threatening others around them, period.

We have to take interests in our
City, its governance, its civic responsibility. The blog is created to increase
the awareness of it. It is a chronicle of my involvement in the affairs of my
City.

We are proud of our
heritage – a multi-faith, multi-cultural, multi-regional and multi-linguistic
society, where we have come to accept and respect every which way people have
lived their lives. For over 5000 years, India has been a beacon of pluralism –
it has embraced Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Baha’i and Zoroastrianism to
include in the array of the indigenous religions; Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism
and Sikhism. I am proud of my heritage and am proud to be an
Indian-American.

International Conflicts
http://internationalconflicts.blogspot.com/

Our goal is to identify the conflicts across
the globe and find pluralistic solutions. I believe peace is an outcome of
justice and liberty to one and all. God has created each one of us and it is our
responsibility to treat everyone as we would want to be treated. If we can learn
to accept and respect the God given uniqueness to each one of the 7 billion of
us, then conflicts fade and solutions emerge.

INCREASINGLY FOCUSED
ON competitiveness and profits, the mainstream American media is under pressure
for its own survival. Indeed, it is at a critical juncture of having to choose
between fulfilling its societal responsibility and succumbing to the political
compulsions of our times. As a society we need to evaluate the importance of the
media in our American system of governance. Does it still play the crucial role
the founding fathers of our nation had envisioned for it?

At this time Mohammad Asad’s translation is recommended until a good one comes

Sharia Laws
www.ShariaLaws.com http://sharialaws.blogspot.com/

First of all,
Sharia Law is not divine; it is the human interpretation of God’s word to create
just societies, as with all human endeavors, a few clauses of Sharia Law needs
amendments. I have made an effort to write in an easy to understand language.
The personal Sharia guides an individual to live a life of piety and gratitude
to the creator while the Public Sharia governs the relationships between
individuals and the society like the civil laws. Like all other laws of any
given society, abuses creep into Sharia Law as well. The old west mindset is
still prevalent in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Sudan and Nigeria, where 50
other Muslim majorities nations are are in line with the civil laws of the
world.

The American
civil and criminal laws serve justice to all of her population and American
Muslims have no desire to replace the American laws with Sharia. Even though the
right wingers among Muslims like the right wingers among Christians dream of
imposing their laws on others, the desire to impose on others stems out of
insecurity and inability to handle the otherness of other.

Press Releases

Muslim Press releases
concerning issues of the day. Since the formation of the organization in 2003,
we have continuously condemned any wrong doing and appreciated the good work.
Much of the work is the blogs listed on the site.

Dallas Muslim Center

The purpose of this site
was to provide information about Dallas Muslims. The information is updated as
and when I get the time.

Ramadan
Exclusive
http://ramadanexclusive.blogspot.com/

There are
three great seminal articles on the spirit, politics and Rituals of Ramadan.
In the spirit
of Ramadan, I pray that Ramadan gets into our hearts and minds and make us
embrace all factions of Muslims without undermining their tradition and further
pray that we treat every human on the earth with dignity, respect and care. The
first year to set the pace, I worshipped and did the Iftaar (breaking the fast
at the dusk) in every Muslim Denomination including praying at Masjid-al-Aqsa,
the third most revered place of worship for Muslims, that completes my
pilgrimage to all the three Mosques.

That is indeed the wisdom expressed
in Qur’an, Al-Hujurat, and Surah 49:13: “O mankind! We have created you male and
female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. The
noblest of you, in sight of God, is the best in conduct. God Knows and is Aware
of everything you do.”

Ground Zero
Mosque

http://groundzeromosque.blogspot.com/
This issue is engaging
the American Public, both for and against, in this blog I will save the links of
articles that come across my knowledge as a reference for the researchers. We
have to find solutions for co-existence and sustainable harmony.
It is a shrine and it is a
catalyst to consciously create a society we desire; where all of us will learn
to respect the otherness of other and accept the God given differences. It is
anti-theatrical to radicals from all traditions.

Peter King
Hearings
http://www.peterkinghearings.blogspot.com/

We
are concerned about the hearings and hope and pray that Mr. King would be
honest, sincere and fair, although his record is marred with bigotry. We hope he
will not destroy the fabric of our society and pit one American against the
other. If he does, the American people will not put up with it, as they have
done that time and again. I trust our system and our people who have stood up
against Vietnam War, Iraq war and supported abortion and civil rights and one of
these days’ rights for GLBT and every American.

Women in Islam
http://muslimwomenandmen.blogspot.com/.

Whether it is the American
society, India, Chinese, Mexican, Greek, Arab or the English Autocrats, men have
always taken advantage of women. While a few Muslim men shamelessly beat their
wives, a few African men mutilate the women genitally do deprive them of the
joys of live, a few American men will brutally kill their wives or drown them
under water, Hindu Mother in laws may douse the women in Kerosene. While a few
men will not go to a place of worship where women preach, the other would not
shake hands with females that include Imams, Rabbis, Monks and Priests. No one
can cast the first stone and all us must work on creating a spiritual balance
and harmony between men and women to have a peaceful life with the fear of
waiting for the opportunity to get even. Without any reserve men and women have
equal rights in Quraan and Islam, even a few of the Muslims have misunderstood
the value Islam places on justness and fairness.
Blasphemy
Laws

www.BlasphemyLaws.com http://blasphemylaws.blogspot.com/

The purpose of this site is to
bring together differing views on Blasphemy, and develop an understanding from
Islamic point of view for the good of all humanity. Current Blasphemy laws and
practices do not go with the values of Islam; free will and respect for
life. Quraan prohibits
judgment, prejudice is discouraged and there is no punishment for the ones who
maligns God or his prophet. It is a political tool of oppression by right
wingers among Muslims.

Tulsi Gabbard, congratulations – Hindu Congresswoman from Hawii

Buddhist Hindu Congress
Two Governors of Indian Origin and one Congresswoman! This is America,
land of the free and land of the brave. Every one can make it here, and I am
proud of America, where an African American becomes the president and is
reconfirmed and re-elected as president, it gives hopes to the people around the
world.

America is setting the new standards in culture, innovation,
social cohesion, science, technology, religion…. America is God’s own country
represented by everything out there in the universe. There is nothing like it.

Whether you are a white minority in South Africa, a native American in
Mexico, a Hindu in Pakistan, a Sikh in Malaysia or any minority anywhere, do
desire to serve and contribute to the overall success of the nation. Obama has
opened the doors for all such aspirants in the world, It will take a long time
to see such a society all over the globe, but we have to begin the process
somewhere.
America will always produced the first, however, my motherland has set the
new standards in the world; A Sikh head of the state, Muslim Presidents,
Christian Defense Ministers, Parsee Supreme Court Judges… you can fill all the
blanks of India’s diversity and pluralistic heritage. The success of a nation
depends on its ability to bring every one together, all the segments must be
working together for every one to benefit.

While Indian Doctors and Engineers are enriching our nation, some of us
are contributing in the social arena, bringing the gift of pluralistic heritage
to America. I am committed to Pluralism in America through speaking,
writing, seminars, conferences, events, TV and Radio appearances and making
things happen. I do invite you to join me in taking this further.

There is a lot of work done by Indians in social area and I am doing my
share of the work. Here is my CV and my Pluralism Profile and there is more at
www.MikeGhouse.net. My goal is to build
a cohesive America, where no American has to feel alienated, uncomfortable,
apprehensive or fearful of the other. We are a land of the free.

Election Rally 2012 Democratic or Republican?

Comments Off on Election Rally 2012 Democratic or Republican?

Tuesday, November 6, 2012. It is a big night and the election rally night. I was not sure where to go, to the Democratic or the Republican. My goal was to connect and feel home with every political, religious, racial, ethnic, and social groups to understand people of different affiliations,  and  work together and build a cohesive America where no one has to live in apprehension or fear of the other.

The most beautiful thing that will happen tonight is an expression of our civility, which is the highlight of our democracy, a lesson other nations are looking to emulate. It is one of my best pieces on Pluralism, published in Dallas Morning news today, “how do we come together as one, after the elections?”.   http://nabsites.net/demo/after-election-how-do-we-become-one_6/

Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, more pictures at:

Republican Rally would be good,  except the President and a few judges, I voted mostly Republican from Senate, to Congress down to judges. One the other hand, I need to build relations with the Democratic rally and wanted to see the composition of the people. So, I went to the Democratic Rally… many familiar people! I felt at home, as I have felt in every setting and this is a jubilant feeling that I do not feel barriers anywhere I go.  It was so good to see every thing I aspire at the Unity day; people of every faith, race, ethnicity…. you name it, it was there. Then I was wondering, what would it be like at the Republican rally? All white, with a few others, including me if I were there? The two conventions were witness to that. http://theghousediary.blogspot.com/2012/11/today-i-voted-for-barack-obama.html

I was apprehensive in the first two hours watching Romney in the lead, but then when Obama jumped from 144 to nearly 175, it perked me up, the crowds were going crazy… Obama won 304 Electoral Votes against 201 of Romney, and he also hit the ceiling of 50% with 62 Million some votes and Romney was behind with about 600,000 votes.
It took nearly 30 minutes for Romney to wake up from the Romnesia to give the concession speech. People were frustrated, and it was getting late night, and Obama held off until Romney gave the concession speech, a tradition that has been around, but I have witnessed in the last 30 years time and again.
Obama’s speech was everything I expected, indeed, a few of his thought were similar to mine, written in this article, http://nabsites.net/demo/after-election-how-do-we-become-one_6/ it was a glorious evening indeed.

Here is Obama’s speech.

The best summary of Obama’s accomplishment, if you are an independent, you have got to see this. it even beats President Clinton’s boost in the convention. Momentarily I was angry watching this, why did not  they not do this before… why isn’t Obama bragging this. Had she done this show a month ago, it would have been a slam dunk for Obama. You have got to watch this… President Obama has brought a mega change in foreign policy, the best in 60 years! No one has highlighted that. However I have done that at Huffington post.

Republican internal dialouge has begun

Comments Off on Republican internal dialouge has begun

The dialogue has just begun between conservative and
moderate Republicans, I intend to do my share of work in bringing moderation and inclusive pluralistic attitudes to GOP.

Here is my first post elections write up in Dallas Morning News, published priort to counting.

Dallas County Republican Party
  • Mike Ghouse Mike, we have to work on fixing our party for 2016
  • Mike Lee Our party is not broken. Does it have its flaws and problems? Of course, but so does the other party – and, frankly, so does any worldly institution.
  • Mike Ghouse Mike, our party is not broken, but good republicans don’t speak up when extremists among us make dumb statements, it gives the impression that all of us are uncouth. We have to speak up boldly and not let mediocrity prevail. Thanks
  • Renee J Cameron It is not the Party. Something is wrong when a good man like Allen West is most likely going to be defeated, yet, Jessie Jackson Jr., in rehab, wins in a landslide.
  • Mike Ghouse There you go Renee, have you seen Allen from a common man’s point of view? He is a divider and an extremist. I respectfully differ with you, but its men like him that bring shame to our party.
  • Mike Ghouse Unless we openly talk and not shy away, we wallow in mediocrity, thank God Americans gave respect to our party with nearly 50% vote instead of a massacre, after all that flip flopping Romney did.
  • Renee J Cameron Not to mention – How on earth could 50% of the voters re-elect a man who has done nothing but damage our country economically and drastically weakens our national security, over a man of such integrity and competence as Romney?! No wallowing here… Just pointing out we have a challenge ahead, but it starts with understanding the mind-set of the electorate, not blaming our candidates.
  • Susan Fountain allen west is an honorable man and a patriot.

  • Renee J Cameron Wow. Mike… Calling Allen West an extremist. Not in my eyes. He is a hero, a uniter, and a wonderful role model.
  • Timothy Matheny Personally, I think the republican party is being subverted by people who want to continuously move to the center on every issue so that we soon look like the old democratic party.
  • Renee J Cameron Once again, Thank you, MIKE LEE, for stepping up to the plate and running for office. All the best to you!
  • Mike Lee Let me be clear – I DID NOT post what I posted for the purpose of my post being used to debate the merits of other Republicans.
  • Mike Lee Thank you, Renee!
  • Timothy Matheny And, I was remiss…thanks for running Mike!
  • Mike Ghouse Renee, we need not be blinded in how we see things, we need to hear a different point of view, so we don’t live in darkness. Allen West is no uniter. He tells things that appease a few, he does not have a larger appeal. If it were not for party loyalty, most Republican would not support him… need to take a poll to find out. thanks
  • Renee J Cameron Once again, Thank you, MIKE LEE, for stepping up to the plate and running for office. All the best to you!
