India’s religious freedom

Comments Off on India’s religious freedom

Washington, D.C., February 13, 2018 – Today we met at room 1540 at Longworth House Office building to discuss the religious freedom in India.  The program was sponsored by the International Religious Freedom Caucus, co-chaired by Congressmen Gus Bilirakis and Thomas Garrett. The meeting was run by Miranda, Maya, and Tripp representing different Congressmen.

Ajaya Kumar Singh, a Dalit leader himself,  gave a presentation of what is going on in India with Dalits, Christians, and Muslims.

When my turn came, I asked Jay Kansara, representative of HAF, the Hindu America Foundation to take the initiative and make statements against the lynching of Muslims, persecution of Christians and harassment of Dalits?   I also urged HAF to write to the Government of India urging them to grant a visa to the USCRIF Commissioners to do their findings of religious freedom in India.

I hope to see HAF come out clean and looked up to as a just American organization. I asked him to issue a press release to say that every Indian has a right to breathe, eat, drink, wear and believe whatever he or she desires, and no Indian has a right to forcibly impose his ideas on others. The Government of India will listen more to HAF than anyone else, as they all have similar affiliations.  Some of the other things I have said are expressed in the letter below.

Ultimately, we all have to come out clean and wash our inconsistencies and operate beyond reproach. If we don’t stand up for the rights of others, then who will?  It is not about Hinduism or Hindus, it is about the radicals among Hindus we need to work with.

I made an assertion that if an American Hindu is attacked; Indian Muslims will stand up for them.  We have a stellar record of that.

John Prabhudas also encouraged Jay to take the responsibility, and he did a great job in explaining how it matters to us in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Sana, spoke exceptionally well, she gives me hope that our next generation has an interest in the well being of India.  She was articulate and spoke American (meaning precise information to the point without digressions).

The IAMC provided the lunch, good homemade Biryani, and fruit tray.  I believe it was prepared by Zubair’s family.

My apologies for not remembering the names, as I had to dash out because of the car parking was 20 minutes walk and the time we had was just 20 minutes left on parking.

I hope someone will write the notes of the meeting. I know the staff of the congressmen took extensive notes. If they send me, I will share with those who want to see, let me know if you do. I have submitted the following recommendations to them.

If the Dalits and others are treated like what India’s constitution calls for; that is Dalit women are not the object of sex for the upper caste Hindu men; and they are not entitled to the Dalit women and they are not raped and hung on trees, and if a Dalit groom rides a horse and the upper caste accepts it instead of beating the groom up; if a Muslim is not lynched for eating meat (suspecting it beef) and if Christian nuns are not raped and harassed. If HAF and HEF can focus on correcting this in India, then the California textbooks should be corrected.

We cannot dupe our children, teach them one thing but when they visit India, they see it differently. The Indians parents look stupid to the American Indian Children. Over the years, I have asked some of my extremist fellow Indians to show their comments to their children and ask them honestly to grade them on the scale of the stupidity of their statements.

International Religious Freedom Caucus.
US Congress.
Washington, DC

Recommendations to the International Religious Freedom Caucus

As an American of Indian origin, I am concerned about the future of Democracy in India, and how it affects us, the Americans. I am pleased to submit the following with concrete solutions.

Governor Sam Brownback, our new Ambassador for religious freedom said it well at the reception held in his honor last week at the US Institute of Peace. If religious freedom is denied to a people, they will bear it to a point, when they have no way out,  they would become resentful and revengeful resulting in unmanageable civil strife. As Martin Luther King said, injustice to one is injustice to all.

India proved to the world that she can manage freedom and certainly established a pluralistic democracy based on humanistic values, patterned after the US constitution by Dr. Ambedkar.  That stability and rule of law attracted investments that benefited Indians as well as the investors from across the world including the United States. India’s GDP and per capita income rose continually.

The success of a nation rests on its two solid feet – the economy and a cohesive society, an imbalance in one would mess up both in the long haul and the entire nation would reel in the downward spiral.  At the end, not only Indians but the investors will also lose out.  Who would want to invest in a country that practices discrimination, harassment, and lynching against its minorities? Who wants to risk operating in such a chaotic environment? Rule of Law and stable societies are the attractants for investors, both are in peril in India at this time.

The Government of India is not doing it, but their silence is contributing towards the chaos. First, the British kept their control by pitting one Indian against the other, and now the current leadership is repeating that formula.   I hope it does not come to the point where we the American have another Afghanistan on your hands, this time it would be Hindu Talibans.

Solutions:

  1. We urge the US Congress to use its leverage with the Government of India to issue visas to the commissioners of USCRIF – to investigate and report the issues and solutions.
  1. We urge the Hindu organizations in America to step up and use their influence with the current Indian Government to issue statements like;
  1. It is the responsibility of the government to ensure that freedom of Individuals is protected under the constitution and those who harass fellow Indians will be punished.
  1. We declare that every Indian is free to breathe, eat, drink, wear and believe whatever he or she is comfortable with.  We will not tolerate anyone to violate these rights of the individuals.
  1. That we the people of all faiths from Atheist to Zoroastrians will stand solidly with the people of India and expect everyone is treated with dignity.

We will urge the moderate Hindus to take back their faith of 5000 years with deep roots in pluralism.  We have also asked and continue to ask the Hindu organizations to issue a statement, and hope they would., and after I hear from the Congressman, I will enlist support from other Hindu Organizations.  A positive message to India would help build positive energy.

Together we have to protect democracies around the world. America is a shining example to the world that Democracy works, it brings stability and prosperity whereas fascism destroys everyone in the process.

The Center for Pluralism is committed to building cohesive societies where individuals can live out their lives in the pursuit of their happiness and without apprehension or fear of the fellow humans.

Thank you

Hindu Right – Changes come when people feel other’s pain

Comments Off on Hindu Right – Changes come when people feel other’s pain

By Santosh Digal
The International Religious Freedom Caucus on February 13 organized a discussion on the religious freedom in India. Congressmen Gus Bilirakis and Thomas Garrett chaired the program.
A leading personality behind the discussion was Mike Mohamed Ghouse, founder of Center for Pluralism, Washington. Ghouse is a regular fighter against Islamophobia in America. he is committed to building cohesive societies and has relationships with people of “all’ faiths from Atheists to Zoroastrians, including Native Americans, Pagans, Wicca, LGBTQ, and the immigrant communities.

Part of that work can be seen at www.Standingupforothers.com and the Center for Pluralism. He is engaged in building relationships with various religious groups, especially Muslims and Christians of America. His work assumed significance after 9/11, which witnessed massive pluralization in American society.

He is often criticized by Islamic scholars for taking a rather liberal view of Islamic teachings and for trying to conform Islam to the demands of Western societies. However, he remains unfazed by the opposition. He has been a vocal critic of America’s war in Iraq and played a prominent role in the campaign against those who opposed a mosque in the Manhattan.
The Bengaluru-born pluralist and outstanding interfaith and peace activist settled in the United States shared with Matters India his views on religious freedom in India and the reasons for holding the discussion.
MATTERS INDIA: Why should the Hindu America Foundation (HAF) take the initiative against the lynching of Muslims, persecution of Christians and harassment of Dalits in India?
MICHAEL MOHAMED GHOUSE: HAF is a very active human rights organization in the US, and I expect them to condemn such violations of human rights. They have rightfully condemned such violations in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan and elsewhere, as we have condemned. They did not get an opportunity to condemn the violations of the right-wing Hindu organizations in India. This is an opportunity for them to earn respect from all as a true human rights organization.
How can the recommendations that your forum made to the International Religious Freedom Caucus be fruitful?
The Caucus will take that up, and on my part, I will follow it up with them as well as the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. The HAF is well connected in India, and they can reason with the right wing organizations of India. They are in the best position to understand how the Hindus as minorities feel, they can understand the harassment they feel being a minority in America and elsewhere, and they can empathize with the minorities in India. Changes come when people feel the pain of the other, and I am sure HAF does feel because it is made up of people with American values; justice and fairness.
How can International Religious Freedom Caucus exert its influence on the Indian government against atrocities against Muslims, Christians and Dalits?
The Americans (that includes all of us) are aware of what is going on, we are driven by our interests, and human rights are one along with business and security of our investments. Do you remember South Africa? American companies will pull out of India if they sense injustice and eventual chaos, hurting everyone. Any investor wants security for his investment. It is in the interests of Indian corporations as well to ensure that their investments are safe. We need responsible business people to be involved who will bring prosperity to all.
What is the wake-up call for democracy in a country like India?
The success of a nation hinges on its two solid feet; economic prosperity which brings “sab ka vikas,” (development of all) not just “mitron ka vikas” (development of friends) and “sab ka saath,” (with everyone) where every Indian should feel included. That is a cohesive India, where no Indian feels excluded or lives in apprehension. Both the economy and social fabric must remain intact. One will not succeed without the other, otherwise what we will witness would a langda (lame) India and ultimately everyone will suffer.
Injustice to one is an injustice to all – and it would be anti-Sanatana dharma (eternal religion) not to respect the otherness of the other, and it would be adharma (irreligious) to harass, lynch and compel fellow Indians to do anything against their will. India will be back on its righteous track if Indians bring a strong opposition in Parliament or flip the party to govern.
Monopoly given to any party tempts them to become evil. The Bharatiya Janata Party is no exception. We the people have to wake up and save our democracy, the democracy that gives freedom to each one of us including the perpetrators and the victims. It is a shame if we let the incoherence is passed on to next generation; they don’t deserve our prejudices, ill-will, and pettiness.

Quran (Koran) Translations

Comments Off on Quran (Koran) Translations

The first Quran was translated in the year 1142, and it was commissioned by the European Kings to Paint Islam as a bad religion, and they frightened their subjects that Muhammad was going to slaughter the people of Europe if they don’t stand up against the advancing Arab armies.  The work was carried out by the French Abbey for a fee.  They coined word the word “Mohammedan” religion for Islam.

It is a big story I would like to tell, as it is easier than writing it out. Please read the full story with many videos and write-ups atwww.QuraanConference.com.

Quran is a book of guidance in building cohesive societies where no human has to live in fear or apprehension of the other; it is as simple as that.  I usually refer to at least 5 different translations to get the essence of a single verse, and of course, our formula to understand the Quran is to read three verses before and three verses after a given verse to understand the context and meaning behind the verse.

However, every faith including yours has a % of people who do things that go against the very teaching of the faith they claim to espouse. That is an insignificant number and less than 1/10th of 1% of any group.

Over the years, I have collected about 20 different translations for reference.  A few are in this picture.  I have also visited the Library of Congress and checked Jefferson’s copy of Quran translation by George Sale.

Over and over you hear it said: If Muslims oppose terrorism, why don’t they stand up and say it?

If that has been you, Mike Ghouse ought to be your hero.

It is hard to imagine that anyone has worked harder than the Carrollton resident to demonstrate the peaceful and moderate side of Islam.

And that effort includes personally visiting Dallas’ First Baptist Church last Sunday just to put a friendly face on the “evil, evil religion” that the Rev. Robert Jeffress denounced a few weeks before.

“It was wonderful,” Ghouse said of the visit. “We were so warmly received.”

He hopes a quick chat with Jeffress will be the start of a deeper discussion about Islam and the importance of respect between religions.

“I want to have a dialogue with him, not to say he is wrong but to share another point of view,” Ghouse said.

The 57-year-old Muslim was born in India and has lived in the United States for 30 years. He owns a small property management firm. But most of his day is devoted to building bridges between people of different faiths.

“It is my passion,” he said in his distinctive raspy voice.

He has been a guest a dozen times on Sean Hannity’s TV and radio talk shows. “I don’t like the way Sean cuts me off, but I have to honor him for giving the American public a semblance of another point of view.”

Ghouse said he can understand fear and criticism of Islam because he went through a time of similar feelings. As a teen, he was troubled by passages of the Quran. He called himself an atheist for a while.

But he said deeper study led him to realize the Quran had been purposely mistranslated down through history.

In the Middle Ages, European leaders commissioned a hostile Quran translation to foster warfare against Muslim invaders.

Later, Muslim leaders produced another translation to inflame Muslims against Christians and Jews.

“It was all for politics,” he said.

Ghouse said he hopes to present Jeffress with a modern, faithful translation and challenge him to find evil verses.

“If he can, I will convert. I will join his church,” Ghouse said. “If he can’t, I will call on him to retract his statements and become a peacemaker.”

Ghouse acknowledges that deep problems persist within Islam. “Three steps forward, two steps back,” he said with a sigh.

And he agrees that mainstream Muslims have not done enough to counter violent images of their faith.

“That is very true,” he said. “But part of it is that many Muslims have given up hope that we will ever be heard.”

He said repeated denunciations of terrorism seem to fall on deaf ears.

And some efforts have backfired – like the proposed Islamic information center in New York. He said it should be hailed for furthering the moderate Muslim cause.

Instead, it has deepened hostility toward Muslims.

I have been astounded by the amount of anti-Islam propaganda that circulates via e-mail. Tons of it has come my way in the last few weeks.

One theme is that people like Mike Ghouse can’t be trusted, that Islam encourages deception.

But Ghouse says actions speak louder than words. And he points to elections in Muslim nations.

More than half of Muslims live in countries with some degree of democracy. And time and time again, Islamist parties are overwhelmingly rejected in favor of secular, mainstream parties.

“The religious parties don’t get more than 3 percent of the vote,” Ghouse said.

Polls show deep mistrust of Muslims. “But the most important question in those surveys is: ‘Do you know anything about Islam?’ ” Ghouse said. “Most people say no.”

What keeps him going is faith in Americans, he said.

“The majority of Americans, if they know the truth, they will change their minds.”

Speak up, it will make a difference

SPEAK UP, IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

The flight from Washington to Dallas was delayed due to a small technical problem. About 17 passengers had to change their flight in Dallas to go to Seattle. The pilot announced that the passengers can get off and make other arrangements, but they all came back as there was no other arrangement. Luckily the connecting flight in Dallas was delayed, and I asked the pilots through the attendant to announce that when the plane stops in Dallas – let the Seattler’s get out first, and he did announce it, and they dashed out of the plane to catch their plane. Amy an attorney sitting next to me was one of the beneficiaries that appreciated.

Last year, the traffic to Reagan airport was held back by a police officer and people were panicky to catch the flight to their homes for Christmas to be with their families. They were getting off the taxis in the middle of the road and running to the airport. I stopped and talk to the police officer to let people go and let them be with their families. He looked at me like I was crazy, then I repeated again and said to come back next week and give all the tickets he wants to give. He listened to me and released the traffic.

I landed in Dallas to 76 degrees, sunny and blue skies! Left DC at 37 – what a difference! I will be here for Christmas with my family.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Message of Optimism – Happy New Year

Comments Off on Message of Optimism – Happy New Year

I wish you, your family and friends the very best in 2020.

Each year is a new milestone in your life.  Indeed, the New Year’s eve is as much a day of celebrations as is a day of reflections. You reflect on the reasons you did not get what you wanted out of 2018, and the party is cheering for the effort you made to be where you are today. Here are a few suggestions to chew on, and it is worth your while to glance at it.

If I was to ask you on 12/31/2020, how was your 2019?

You may respond in one of the following ways;

  1. Nothing Changed,
  2. Things have gotten worse
  3. Celebrating the achievements
  4. Lost or gained weight
  5. Relationship entanglements and disentanglements
  6. Financial soundness or mess
  7. Bonded well with family and friends
  8. Another thing

Let’s focus on two extremes; things that got worse and things that are worth celebrating. The question is, did you get what you want? Did you work for getting what you got?

Nothing happens by itself; things happen because someone causes them or makes them happen. Did you let others drive your life or did you drive it yourselves? You cannot go on vacation unless your dream about it, think about it and plan on it. You cannot buy anything unless you start with a want. Unlike the planets, stars and many other things in the universe that are programmed to function precisely, humans were not put on auto-pilot, they were given free will to chart their course.

God does not do anything for you or me. He cannot do good things for you and not for others, God has created everything in balance,  and has given us the free will to restore the balance if we lose it. The responsiblity is entirely ours how we want our lives to be. We have to make an effort.

John was drowning in floods, and he refuses to go with firefighters and the rescuers. The water keeps rising, and he climbs up on the tree, water reaches up to his neck, he goes further up to the very top of the tree. A helicopter throws him a rope to catch. He screams I don’t need help from humans; God will help me, I am an excellent pious man who gave much charity.  Finally, he drowns and appears in front of God and challenges God for not helping. God booms back, John, I sent you the helicopter, what else did you want me to do?

God has laid everything out for you to pursue your happiness and peace; it is up to you to get it. Here is a simple way of getting what you want! The first thing is to know what you want.

Buy a dozen 5×3 Cards or fold three regular blank white papers and cut them out into 12 pieces. Write the following down on top of each piece and place them in your pocket or purse. Here are your 12 or more cards to jot down the points as to what you want out of each item of life.

  • Family
  • Friends
  • Profession
  • Income
  • Health
  • Vacation
  • Volunteerism
  • Spirituality
  • Retirement
  • Self-improvement
  • A new image
  • Your special item

As you start driving, making coffee, watching TV or whatever you are doing, take one piece at a time and start thinking about it, until you have clarity of what you want, don’t stop believing. Pull the car over or go to a coffee shop and sit down and write your thoughts in bullets. Did you know you can daydream while taking a shower? Can you think better sitting on the crown?

You know it all, why should you write down?

If you are a religious person, it would be easy for you to understand. Remember, God tells you to ask him? Don’t you think the creator does not know what you want? Of course, he does, but he wants you to remove the fog to your jumbled up thoughts and bring clarity to what you want. That clarity takes out the confusion and makes your focus on a few things when you are focused; you can commit to working towards achieving them. Don’t forget the rope from the helicopter.

At the end of the day or two, take a picture of each card/paper and save it on your cell phone. One of the evenings, you may want to sit down for a few hours and put it all together. This would be your guideline to go by, and this would be your plan for 2019. The more you stare at it, the more it becomes a part of you.

12/31/2020

If you were to receive my note on 12/31/20, and without any doubt, you will. If you’ve received this note, you will get that one too unless you block me. You can proudly say that your life was as planned on 12/31/19.

Why do I do this? It is merely because my mission in life is to build cohesive workplaces, communities and nations and open people’s hearts minds and souls to fellow beings. Everyone has a purpose in life, find yours now. Mine is to make life meaningful to as many people as I can.

I am pleased to share what we do at the Center for Pluralism.

Center for Pluralism is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 (as Foundation for Pluralism) based on a simple principle; the more we know about each other, the fewer the misunderstandings would be.

CFP is committed to vigorously promoting and advancing pluralism in the realm of religion, politics, social and cultural aspects of life. We have published over 3600 articles on promoting harmony and reconciliation, appeared in over 300 national TV shows and 200 radio talk shows.  We have also produced 780 hours of talk on the wisdom of religions, all the beautiful faiths.

CFP will continue to focus its energies on ensuring a safe and secure America for all, where no one has to worry about his race, faith, ethnicity or other God-given uniqueness and live her life without apprehensions.

Our programs are designed to prevent chaos and maintain coherence and stability with the ongoing changes. We need to prepare the next generation to cope with these changes and minimize potential conflicts with ease. No American needs to worry about losing his or her way of life. As Americans, we uphold, protect, defend and celebrate the values enshrined in our Constitution.

The Center for Pluralism has established over 20 annual programs to bring Americans together on religious, social, political and cultural aspects of life. The more we know each other, the fewer conflicts we would have. Please review our programs and except for the Religious workshops and Unity Day all other events can be run as your sponsorship for $5,000/year, but you can contribute any sum that is in your budget. Please review them in this mini-Brochure at – http://centerforpluralism.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/4.-CPF-Programs-4-Pages.pdf

CFP will be an antidote to Anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, Racism, Homophobia, Hindu phobia, Xenophobia, Misogyny, and other phobias. Through research and activism, we are establishing a respectful space for policymakers, interfaith groups, both Republicans and Democrats and of course the media and you!

The Center for Pluralism will become the energy to give a solid, cohesive social structure to our nation. By the year 2025, there will not be an office, school, playground, college, restaurant, theater, train, bus or a workplace where people of different faiths, races, ethnicities, and national origins do not work, interact, play, live and marry together. This beautiful blending is bound to create conflicts in airports, public spaces, boardrooms, and in bedrooms as well as places of worship, workplaces, politics, eateries, and schools.

We have a responsibility to shape the future of our society so our kids, grandkids and we can retire in peace and live without apprehensions.

If your idea of America is reflected in our work, and we hope that your vision for America resonates with what we are doing. If you feel, this is what you always wanted America to be, and I welcome you to join the Center for Pluralism as a volunteer, donor (big or small), inspirer, encourager, and a writer with all your heart mind and soul. Whatever we do, we do it wholeheartedly. Details at http://centerforpluralism.com/mission-accomplished-at-the-center-for-pluralism/

Taqqiya of Mike Ghouse: ‘Quran Is Not for Muslims’

Comments Off on Taqqiya of Mike Ghouse: ‘Quran Is Not for Muslims’

Frequent guest of Fox’s Sean Hannity and writer at Huffpo. via Taqqiya of Mike Ghouse: ‘Quran Is Not for Muslims’.

Al-Taqiyya is an Islamic doctrine of deceiving non-Muslims in the interest of Islam, which is well-articulated in the Quran (3:28,16:106) and the Sunna (Sahih Bukhari 7:71:6624:52:1474:53:408). Mike Ghouse is a US-based Muslim, who has mastered the art of al-Taqiyya extremely well. He frequently appears on TV to put a Happy Face on the murderous ideology of Islam to deceive non-Muslims, and has also written a guidebook on Islam to that end, titled “Quran is Not For Muslims”.

To introduce his guidebook to Western readers, Ghouse wrote an article in the Huffington Post. The article starts by stating: “First of all, God is not the God of Muslims and no where he claims that in Quran.

His statement that ‘God is not the God of the Muslims’ can only be deemed correct in the sense that, the Quranic God is not the God of the Universe at all, but a brain of Muhammad himself.

All Muslims, including Ghouse, believes that every word of the Quran is from God transmitted via Angel Gabriel to Muhammad. To them, in this universe, 6 trillion miles and 14 billion light years in expanse and continually expanding, there is only one book written by God Himself, which is the Quran. They regard the Quran as a divine lawbook – the ETERNAL word/teachings of God that are unchangeable (forever). The Quran itself claims to contain all guidance and knowledge that came before Islam and all things (that would to come until the end of the world), revealed by God Himself [Quran 12:111]. Muslims cannot question or doubt a word of God contained in the Quran, which are immutable and will stand valid for all times. Questioning even a single word of the Quran is questioning the credibility of God, and hence blasphemous. A Muslim must dutifully believe it and obey its commands without raising any question or doubt. Therefore, all teachings and sanctions of the Quran must be followed by Muslims until the end of the world. Muslims who question even one word of the Quran become apostates of Islam and must be murdered.

But for the Quran to be the word of God, every command and precept of it must be of moral perfection. The almighty Creator of the Universe cannot sanction unjustified violence, hatred, inequality, terrorism, torture, rape, and sex-slavery etc.

But throughout his essay, Ghouse totally ignores all the violent verses of the Quran. If the verses of abrogation is taken into account, which invalidates all the peaceful verses, the Quran becomes 100% violent and evil.

Ghouse states: “…whereas humans were not put on an autopilot, they were instead given a free will to manage and maintain their own balance, and of course there was the guidance for everyone…

But the truth is: there is no freewill in Islam. Muslims can be killed (beheaded) if they want to exercise freewill and do any of the following:

  1. Reviling Allah or his Messenger;

  2. Being sarcastic about Allah’s name, His command, His interdiction, His promise, or His threat’;

  3. Denying any verse of the Quran or ‘anything which by scholarly consensus belongs to it, or to add a verse that does not belong to it’;

  4. Holding that ‘any of Allah’s messengers or prophets are liars, or to deny their being sent’;

  5. Reviling the religion of Islam;

  6. Being sarcastic about any ruling of the Sacred Law;

  7. Denying that Allah intended ‘the Prophet’s message to be the religion followed by the entire world.

Muslims who become apostates must be murdered (Quran 4:89). There is no freewill for non-Muslims who refuse to accept Islam. They must be murdered as per Quran 9:5 if they are idol-worshippers; or in the case of Christians/Jews, they submit to Islam, pay a submission tax and live as oppressed dhimmi under Muslim domination [Quran 9:29]. These are just two of the numerous Quranic verses, ordering conquest and murder of non-Muslims.

Continuing his lies and deception, Ghouse writes: “God loves us all, and no one is deprived of his love; he has reached out to every human through a peace maker, messenger, prophet, reformer, a wise man or simply a good friend that brings sense to living. The creator offers a variety of guidance to the mankind, no matter where you live, the guidance is there, the guidance that leads to live in peace, and without fear of the other. He says I have sent a peacemaker to every nation and every tribe.

But the Quran is a book of pure hate. There is no love in the Quran. Not even for Muslims. Islam is all about submission to the psychopathic entity Allah, the brainchild of Muhammad.

Where is the love of God in Islam Mr. Ghouse when Quran 5:33, the verse of barbaric cruelty, states:

“The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom;”

And where is the mercy of God, when adultery and fornication must be punished by flogging with a hundred stripes (or by stoning to death as per the sunnah):

“The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication, – flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by God, if ye believe in God and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.” [Quran 24:2]

Or how can Islam is about love and compassion when God commands murder as retaliation:

“O you who believe! Retaliation is prescribed for you in the matter of the slain, the free for the free, and the slave for the slave, and the female for the female, but if any remission is made to any one by his (aggrieved) brother, then prosecution (for the bloodwit) should be made according to usage, and payment should be made to him in a good manner; this is an alleviation from your Lord and a mercy; so whoever exceeds the limit after this he shall have a painful chastisement.” [Quran 2.178]

Or when the Quran orders murdering prisoners of war:

“It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. Ye desire the lure of this world and Allah desireth (for you) the Hereafter, and Allah is Mighty, Wise.” [Quran 8:67]

Or when the Quran even orders murdering Muslims, if they refuse to go on jihad:

“Fighting is prescribed for Muslims…”] [Quran 2.216]

and,

“If you march not forth, He will punish you with a painful torment and will replace you with another people, and you cannot harm Him at all, and Allah is able to do all things.” (Verse 9:39).

So, there is no freewill in Islam. Muslims must murder in the name of Allah. Deviant Muslims who refuse must be murdered by pious Muslims.

July 4th: Muslims for America Since 1776

Washington, D.C., Jun 30, 2017 – The Center for Pluralism and its Board of Directors have every reason to be jubilant.  Each successive year, they see the vision of the Founding Fathers coming to life, where every American is treated with dignity and respect.

Mike Ghouse, President of the Center said, “We are not a perfect union yet, but a perfect union we will be, as we can continue our efforts to be an inclusive society. The Fourth of July should not simply come and go; we must make it a remarkable day. It should be a great happening to augment National Integration, where Americans of all faiths, or no faith, races, ethnicities, nationalities, political, sexual and other orientations come together to celebrate the oneness of our nation. “

This year the Muslim contributions to America are highlighted.  Each one of the Board Members is excited. Dr. Karen Hollie-Thibodeuax, Fatima Argun, Sam Madden, Dana Lankford-Russell and the supporting team members OS Modgil and Ali Azhar Fateh have provided extensive support.  The encouragement and long term support for Pluralism came from Ambassador Sada Cumber, Mr. Farooq Wazir Ali and Professor Emeritus Dr. Harbans Lal who are genuinely committed to a cohesive America.

Muslims have been contributors towards the wellbeing of the United States of America from the very beginning; the declaration of independence on July 4th, 1776.  Morocco’s Sultan Muhammad III was the first world leader to recognize the sovereignty of the United States followed by Nederland’s Johannes de Graaf and Tipu Sultan of Mysore (India).  The legend has it that Tipu Sultan had fire crackers going up in Sriranga Patna, his Capital cheering America’s independence. He faced the same enemy that the United States had faced: Lord Cornwallis.

Where’s my Pulitzer Prize? Peggy Noonan Wins 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Commentary

Where’s my Pulitzer?

Congratulations to Peggy Noon for winning the Pulitzer Prize.  She should consider sharing that with me (LOL) as I wrote an identical piece with more clarity.

Chris Matthews on MSNBC announced on his show tonight (April 11, 2017)  that Peggy Noon won the Pulitzer Prize for her commentary on Trump’s victory in November 2016.

“The unprotected people of America, who have to live with Washington’s policies, rebelled against the protected, who make and defend those policies and who care little if at all…” “About the unprotected … Tuesday was in effect an uprising of the unprotected. It was part of the push-back against detached elites. She was talking about the educated haves looking down on the have nots, above them in cultural hipness..”

Peggy wrote a few days after the election, where as I wrote two days before the election.

I asked Hillary to deliver the following message in one fashion or the other on Monday, November 7, 2016.

“My priority is to reach out to my fellow Americans who had it good until the disaster from wars brought misery to them; the white Americans. We are going to find ways and means for them to recover from the difficult times they have endured while others Americans have prospered.”

On August 7, 2016, I wrote, “The LGBT, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and members of other minorities love it when a Congressman, Senator or an actor speaks up kindly about them.   They love the leader and become his or her defenders and promoters.  Most leaders are genuine with a few exceptions.  John McCain was authentic when he corrected the woman, “No, Madam. Obama is good family man….” And so was General Powell, who said, “So what if he is a Muslim?” These are unforgettable moments that Muslims Cherish, likewise there are moments like this for every community.”

Trump’s sympathy for the disaffected has earned him unprecedented loyalty.

Trump has precisely made those statements about the disaffected White folks who will hang on to him dearly, just as the Jews, Muslims and others have done it. Trump has earned die-hard supporters.

Hillary needs to pay attention to this.

Those Americans, who have seen good times in the sixties through the 90’s with hiccups in the Mid-eighties, faced hard times after the economic collapse in 2006 brought in by Bush-Cheney’s reckless regime.

The Job losses, business closures, massive budget deficits, unprecedented home foreclosures, divorces and deeply disturbed family lives made it difficult for Middle America. No one talked about them; they were simply not a part of the conversation.
