Did Putin brainwash Trump?

Did Putin Brainwash Trump? It appears like that.

The pictures that are being released by the Department of Homeland Security and Health and Human sources are what the “government” wants the public to see. The media is not allowed and even a few Senators were not allowed to report on the conditions of the facility except what the “Government wants.  Putin must have really put in some screws into Trump to have that kind of behavior in America

Is Trump’s Immigration policy based in Racism?

Comments Off on Is Trump’s Immigration policy based in Racism?

Is racism at the heart of separating children from the parents?  Trump doesn’t care about anyone except himself. After all, these immigrants are less human than him, and he is adept in gathering support from those who are quick to dehumanize others.  Is this the stinky disguised racism? Are we are more privileged than others?

The only right thing Trump has done in the last few years is to extend his ‘fake’ sympathy towards the frustrations of disenchanted Americans and earning their loyalty. They will die for him even if they don’t benefit from it. Such is the power of inclusion which Hillary ignored and I had advised her in my article at Huffington post two days before the election. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/hillarys-last-ditch-effort-the-final-speech_us_581f90f8e4b0102262411963

Now Trump has done to our Allies, what Hillary did to fellow white Americans; ignoring their plight.  He cannot be duping people again and again. It will have its effect sooner than later. Our president needs to stand with all Americans in actions, and not bullshit words.

We need to remember this, Trumps will come and go, but all of us have to live with each other and we must come together for common good and restore America to its glory days, where everyone lived in peace with others.

President Trump is running like a wounded animal, trying to save his tail from the imminent charges of collusion.  He is attacking anything thing, and clearly trying to save and strengthening his base by feeding them the bullshit that Democrats are responsible for the immigration crisis.

The Democrats, on the other hand, are disgusting, allowing Trump to blame them and get away with it. This will come to haunt them in 2018, as more and more people start believing that Democrats are the problems.

Morning Joe on 6/19, and Lawrence O’Donnell on 6/18/18, both MSNBC shows clearly established that is it is not the law, but policies of Trump that has created this mess.  Even the first lady Melania and the former first ladies have spoken out against it from Michelle Obama to Laura Bush to Rosalyn Carter. Don’t we have Democrats with balls to speak out strongly against these falsities? Stephanie Rule of MSNBC played a clip of Trump at 11:55 PM EST – he says, “I alone can fix it” from a campaign rally.

Right now, the biggest issue facing our nation is a separation of family members, particularly babies from mothers. Both the supporters and opposers quote Bible to justify their stand. Have we misunderstood God, or choosing to believe what suits us –are we more privileged than others. Who is wrong, God or us?

Democrats need to speak out loudly and boldly before Trump’s lies become the truth.  King Trump has frightened the crap out of Republicans, they have no balls to stand up to the biggest bully of America.

Mike Ghouse is committed to building a cohesive America based on truth and respect for fellow Americans.

Ramadan Reflections

      Comments Off on Ramadan Reflections

A few questions are answered here; why do we celebrate on different days? What is it with the Moon? How do you greet Muslims on this day? What kind of culinary delights are out there? How do Muslims celebrate in different parts of the world?  Ramadan TV Commercials? A bit of politics too.

I urge Muslims around the world to take a minute to stop and appreciate the men and women who serve our nation, police, firefighters and others who are out there for the safety of individuals and families.  I have done this time and again, and I always remember the Louisville experience, where the police officer asked me to forward the email to him, asking Muslims to appreciate them, and after the Eid prayers, he had forwarded it to many police officers.  I urge Muslim organizations to issue a press release to this effect, and this is our appeal from the World Muslim Congress, a think tank committed to building a cohesive America.

Pluralism is alive and kicking in Islam – i.e., respecting the otherness of others! Indeed, there are many schools of thought, and the good clergymen always point out the different traditions, Dr. Imam Kavakci, one of the leading Muslim Scholars, always advised on that basis.  It is up to the individual to follow what he or she is conditioned or comfortable with.  The non-pluralistic Muslims resort to name calling the others who take a different path. But all of them celebrate the festival.

A month-long fasting should clean up our bodies, hearts, and souls, it means you are no biased towards anyone, you have no wall between you and another human and that you are committed to peace and harmony.  What others do to you does not matter, but how you behave towards others is all that matters in making America great again. By the way, I am an independent, and not a Republican or a Democrat and I am a Pluralist Muslim, like a majority of Muslims – i.e., respecting the otherness of others, and accepting the God-given uniqueness of each one of his beautiful creation.

All of this at http://ramadannews.com/ramadan-celebrations-eid-mubarak/

Mike Ghouse

When is the Eid? Ramadan Celebrations?  Is it Friday, Saturday or even Sunday? For some, it will depend on when the moon (first day) is sighted.

Pluralism is alive and kicking in Islam – i.e, respecting the otherness of others! Indeed, there are many schools of thought, and the good clergymen always point out the different traditions, Dr. Imam Kavakci always advised on that basis.  It is up to the individual to follow what he or she is conditioned or comfortable with.  The non-pluralistic Muslims resort to name calling the others who take a different path. But all of them celebrate the festival.

Since the beginning of Islam, there have been debates as to what constitutes moon sighting. Some interpret that there has got to be a minion to declare that they have seen it themselves with their own eyes, while others do not accept it unless they have seen it themselves. It is also acceptable if the moon is sighted elsewhere, but now, each group has to have their own moon sighting. In the United States, there is an organization that monitors moon sighting and announces it in advance. Over the millennium we learned to accept and respect the otherness of other.

Politics plays a crucial role in our Temples, Synagogues or Churches, Mosques are no different. A few scientifically-inclined-Muslims have adopted NASA’s calculations believed to be precise. However, four different traditions are operating concurrently; i) Strictly Calendar, ii) NASA  iii) Sighting with bare eyes and iv) sighting by others in the community.

The NASA-oriented and the Calendar-group miss out the fun, joy, and exhilaration of waiting and watching the needle thin moon on the horizon. The whole family gets out on the rooftops, or higher grounds, some even climb electric poles, and a few will drive out where they can see the sky without obstacles, kids would climb on parent’s shoulders, and a few go from place to place shouting in excitement, did you see it? It is like the belief in Santa Claus, Angels, and other myths, each tradition fulfills one’s emotional needs and every one becomes sentimental. After all, if celebration does not have the excitement, it is not a celebration.

America’s spirit of freedom touches every soul, no matter what religion or tradition they follow. American Muslims are no different, they prefer to have a pre-set date to start fasting and the celebration called “Eid” pronounced as Eeed as in Eeel. The idea is for them to take a day off from work or get an optional day off for their children from the schools. Always, the joy multiplies when the family and friends celebrate it together. They prefer to start on a pre-set date and trust the calculations.

The conflicts are the same everywhere on the earth. Each group subscribes to one of the four systems mentioned above. America is no different; you will find celebrations on one or three different days in any given city, the Sunnis, being the largest group has the greater division within, while the Sufis, Shias, Ismailis, WD Mohammad, Bohra and Ahmadiyya follow the pre-determined dates.

The consensus may be attributable to having central spiritual leadership in all groups except the Sunni. However like the American Public wishes to see the Republicans and Democrats drop the party lines and focus on what is good for America, the Muslims also wish they could celebrate the Eid on one single day. It ain’t going to happen, it is human to differ. It is against the spirit of Ramadan to denigrate, diminish and devalue other practices.

The essence of Ramadan is to become humble, simple and free from ill-will, anger, meanness, and hate. Let’s fill our hearts with goodwill and honor Ramadan by saying “Eid Mubarak” or Happy Eid to everyone who celebrates on a different day in the same town. The essence of Ramadan is joy and let’s not prick the bubble; God has not signed a pact with anyone behind other’s back to favor one and disfavor the other.  Let’s allow God to be an honest God who is just, kind, merciful and loving as Quran says. Let’s rejoice the differences of interpretations. If you want to celebrate every day, go to every celebration.

In the spirit of Ramadan, I pray that Ramadan gets into our hearts and minds and make us embrace all factions of Muslims without undermining their tradition and further pray that we treat every human on the earth with dignity, respect, and care.

The Shia-Sunni conflict we see in Iraq is new to both groups of Muslims, conflicts have always been there but the violence in conflict took birth after we (The Americans) invaded Iraq and sowed the seeds of division. Shamefully, the Shia and Sunni played it out. Our short-sighted foreign policy is pitting Saudi Arabia against Iran. Iran is not a threat to anyone, it is the false propaganda by Netanyahu, and salesmanship of defense contractors to sell Arms to Saudi, and the stupid Saudi monarchs have bought the idea, I wish we can sell peace and democratic education that will benefit us all in the long haul. I wish, the leadership of these two nations make a bold move and meet in Singapore and hash out the differences.  I also wish in the spirit of Ramadan, the Pakistani people will wake up and correct the ugliness in their constitution that shamelessly discriminate Ahmadiyya Muslims. Above all, I wish Muslims chose to follow the foundation of Islam; Amin, that is caring for every human being and seeking peace and harmony by respecting the otherness of others.

That is indeed the wisdom expressed in Qur’an, Al-Hujurat, Surah 49:13: “O mankind! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. The noblest of you, in sight of God, is the best in conduct. God Knows and is Aware of everything you do.”

MUSLIMS MUST DO THIS

I urge Muslims around the world to take a minute to stop and appreciate the men and women who serve our nation, police, firefighters and others who are out there for the safety of individuals and families.  I have done this time and again, and I always remember the Louisville experience, where the police officer asked me to forward the email to him, asking Muslims to appreciate them, and after the Eid prayers, he had forwarded it to many police officers.

What is a Good Life?

Comments Off on What is a Good Life?

What is a good life?

Is it about having what others have or living your own life? Until a decade ago I had a great living from the first point of view, but in the last several years, I’ve chosen to live a minimalist’s life, that is living with bare necessities. Indeed, the desires are inversely proportional to happiness.

If we focus on living our own lives, we’ll live happily. The problems begin when we want to have what others have, there is no end to having things, and there is nothing wrong with wanting and having stuff if that is what you want.

I went to Dallas to attend celebrating a friend’s life who had passed away a week ago, he was a great soul. It was time to reflect on life. While there, I went around in Plano with my son and his family. The Quality of life is undoubtedly far better here than most places to raise a family, and the amenities and facilities were incredible. Plano and Richardson are beautiful cities with God’s diversity of creation, people of different races, faiths, and ethnicities were all there. I went to watch my Grandson play soccer indoors, and it was a joy to see all of God’s creation there.

On the way back, I was sitting on the plane next to a friendly sociable woman, and we had a good healthy conversation over a period of three hours. She had so much to share, occasionally my mind wandered at the possibility of taking this conversation further, and each time, I dropped the idea.

There is a beautiful song in Urdu/Hindi language, “Chalte Chalte, younhi koi mil gaya tha.” In the journey of life, I met someone; those few moments were precious, let them remain so, and don’t affix a relationship to those moments, let them stay a pleasant dream.

For a few moments the desire to live that life again surfaced, but am glad, I quickly came out of it when I reminded myself of what I’ve chosen. My commitment is to Pluralism, and I should stick to it until the Center of Pluralism is doing everything I wanted it to do. I have to live a purposeful life and leave behind ideas and practices that may benefit one soul or the other. Again, it is not a noble thing or Godly thing, it is what I would like to do for my own joy.

I was in Dallas on short notice and did not call on any of my friends. I hope to visit again and catch up with all my good buddies.

Be Yourselves

Nature has created you to be the unique being in the world, no one is exactly like you, and you are your model! Check it out, your thumbprint, eye print, taste bud, color bud and of course DNA is unique. There is no one out there who is exactly like you!

You don’t have to believe in God, but the fact is, you are still a product of a process of birth-life-death like everyone else, and each one of us has a role to play in this World Wide Web regardless of our beliefs.

Nature is not random, and it is a product of itself, everything that comes out of is not foreign, it is a part of this planet earth, and each element in the universe is interconnected and interdependent.

Why do you wish to be like someone else? Be yourselves!  Physically, you are it, you cannot change it, and you don’t need to pretend like someone else either. However, you do have a choice to be like someone you admire by adopting their ways.

Do you know why you are unique? It is to protect you from identity-theft, God has created super secure identities, and no one can steal or substitute your identity.  You cannot fake your personality; the creator (your conscience or Brahma) knows what elements are associated with you. You will be the one that sweats, worries, and shits in your pants or the skirt for the wrong things you do, and of course, you will be the one that smiles when you do the right things.

We must make an effort to accept our uniqueness and respect it, and then we would recognize the uniqueness of others.

If you look down on anyone that he or she is ‘ugly’ then, you are telling that God screwed up, would God like to hear that from you?  Hell no!

Indeed, everyone is beautiful; you have just had to remove your prejudices to see it. They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. In my old business home building, we used to say, for every toilet there is an ass out there to occupy.

The language of inclusion would read, for every heart out there; there is another heart longing for it and wanting to connect with it. The language of exclusion would have said, for every man God has created, there is a woman out there.  I hope we all learn to start speaking the inclusive and sensitive language.

You are beautiful and be yourselves!

Goodbye Najma

      Comments Off on Goodbye Najma

Ten years ago, she took her last breath and found relief from cancer. The last year of our life was the best we had together. Najma and I have lived our life experiencing the full spectrum of emotions ranging from Khatta (sour), Meetha (sweet), Pheeka (tasteless), Teekha (off), Khara (spicy) and Kadva (bitter) brimming with caring and lots of love.

We have enjoyed the happy moments that life had offered; we have lived the fantasies; survived the challenges; experienced the bitterness and above all bonded with the thread of romance till death did us apart. We found Mukti, that is the freedom from the bondage of wants and needs.

That Rainbow gave us so much joy… got us into singing moods
This ship had an edgy corner jetting out like it was on the Titanic; we stood at the edge…. and enjoyed the breeze and tilting of the ship. She did not know swimming but nothing in the world would frighten her except the creepy crawly things
We had a sanctuary that we visited once a while, it is in Salado; about two hours drive from Dallas, Texas. A bronze mermaid by the name Serena was standing in the shallow stream, and we would go there and sit for hours to listen to each other, sort out things, sing songs and return home after a good scoop of German Chocolate Ice cream at Braum’s – the best Ice cream in Texas and Oklahoma

The Spiritual freedom is indeed the greatest achievement in one’s life and it clings to you till eternity. Those of us, who can free ourselves from tension, pain, anxiety, apprehension, hostility, malice, pressure, tension, stress, strain, and conflicts, are showered with blessings of peace and joy. We freed each other through a series of actions. We tied the loose ends of life prior to her departure. It is good to be free.

VIDEO: CRUISING IN KAUAI
https://www.facebook.com/MikeGhouse/videos/1919605171392677/?t=1

A month before Najma passed away, she and I consciously developed an understanding of things that needed resolutions and closure. We embarked on working a list, the things she wished away; went away one at a time, the little things that gave her tensions, apprehensions, and fears, the things she wanted to see happen; started happening one at a time. Thank God, every conflict was graciously resolved and she had this wonderful opportunity to clear the air and receive her freedom.

When you push the refresh button of your life, as the Jain philosophy urges each one to forgive the other and start the life all over again with a clean slate. One who forgives is dearest to Allah and forgiving is central to Jesus’ teaching as well. There is wisdom in it, every philosophy and every religion urges you to do that. Forgiving is the most powerful things one can do. Please don’t delay it, forgive every one that has hurt you. If your life were to come to an end today, you will have peace written on your face. It is indeed empowering.

Please take that step today; be it your spouse, parents, siblings, kids, friends, co-workers or anyone, forgive them genuinely and call them up and let them know that you felt discomfort about a particular aspect of relationship and that you seek forgiveness, and that your heart and mind does not have ill will, anger or hate towards them. Do your part.

Please make a list of things, everything that you wish, everything you need and want, whether you do it or not, it will bring purpose in your life. Live the life purposefully; one day at a time, you will not get a second chance to experience it. Be the best person you can be. Amen

May God guide us to clean our slate every day, bring humility and remove the arrogance. May you be blessed. Amen.

Najma had reached the pinnacle of freedom when she took her last breath. It is a beautiful way to bring closure to life and I wish this happens to me, you and everyone. Amen!

Wherever I am asked to speak, I talk about tying the loose ends of life or becoming a catalyst to bring freedom to others, and that karma without any doubt rewards you with freedom. Indeed, my mother set that example and I followed that with my wife, both departed the world in peace with a genuine smile on their faces for having lived their lives to full. They were free, so am I. May we all make the effort to be free. Amen

God Damned Religious leaders!

Comments Off on God Damned Religious leaders!

Religions are never a problem; it is always men and who make their faith and their God a villain of others.

A few Jews believe that they are the chosen people,
A few Christians think when Jesus arrives at the end, everyone will be wiped out,
A few Muslims believe Islam is the only religion acceptable to God,
A few Hindus, Sikhs and others have similar arrogant attitudes that they are the best.
If you are an individual that hates other people, you are the problem and not others religion.

We all need to create a God that is universal and does not condemn his own creation.  We need a God who is not prejudiced and discriminates others, chooses one over the other, practices exclusivity and denies access to others. Who wants a God like that? God is not what these men portray him-her-it to be.  God is better than these crappy religious salesmen.  God is all caring, loving, and “do-nothing” God.  Because he has given us free will to figure out how to live in harmony, he stays out of our fights.

Thanks to Mitt Romney for speaking up against that creep Pastor Robert Jeffress, who is a stain on Baptist Church of America. I hope more Americans and Israelis will speak out.

Does God want you to kill 58 Palestinians for his bloody pleasure? Religion is about respect for life, the moderate people of Israel and the United States need to speak up and not pass their wrongdoing to their children. You and I will be asked by our Grand Children if we were chicken shit or did our part.

Muslims need a tune-up on free speech, a lot of catching up to do.

Comments Off on Muslims need a tune-up on free speech, a lot of catching up to do.

No generic bull, but very specific items that require a calibrated change.  At this time, I am committed to write three articles.  The first one deals with clash of values on free speech,  one of the most enduring values of humanity and what does it take to catch up with fellow Americans.  The second topic will be about Muslim unwillingness to have a conversation with the ones who are opposed, and finally the deficiency of democratic attitudes in American Muslim Institutions that kills many good ideas and what can be done about it.

Quran -13:11, “Verily, God does not change men’s condition unless they change their inner selves.” – Muhammad Asad elaborates, “This statement has both a positive and a negative connotation: i.e., God does not withdraw His blessings from men unless their inner selves become depraved (cf. 8:53), just as He does not bestow His blessings upon willful sinner until they change their inner disposition and become worthy of His grace. In its wider sense, this is an illustration of the divine law of cause and effect which dominates the lives of both individuals and communities, and makes the rise and fall of civilizations dependent on people’s moral qualities and the changes in “their inner selves”.

Bhagvad Gita 5:14 shares its wisdom, “God does not decide what each person should do, nor he induces people to act, nor does he create fruits of any action.  Each person acts according to his/her perceptions of mind.”

Neither Bhagvad Gita nor Quran says the message is for Hindus or Muslims, such is the greatness of holy books, all holy books, the universal books of guidance to build cohesive societies.

Indeed there is no compulsion in what one believes (Quran 2:256); even God does not induce one to do things one way or the other, HE has uploaded “Free-will” and “Free-speech” into every human’s DNA.  Didn’t he give a choice to Adam as to what would happen if he were to eat the fruit or not? Adam made the choice, God could have stopped him, but he did not, God meant business – he gave Adam a choice and honored his own word.  Watch this 3 minutes humorous video about it.

Video on Liberty: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vQs1IcSdYA

Quran 55:5-11 brings clarity to one’s role in life.  HE has spread the earth for all living beings.  HE has created everything in balance – all things in the universe run per a program – Humans were given a free will to find their own balance and equilibrium.  Elsewhere in Quran, he called the human race by the title Ashraful-Mukhlooqat –the honored species. A term to describe the species that did not wash away in floods, blown apart in storms, melted down in heat, crashed under falling meteoroids, died of hunger…. but survived!  HE expects this species to preserve and sustain harmony and balance with which he has created the world. That balance is environmental, cultural, religious, physical, social and mental including the human body.

There is plenty of wisdom in Quran with which Muslims can fine tune their future. What is good for Muslims has got to be good for all to sustain.  No one can live in peace unless people around him are in peace, no one will live securely unless others around him/ her are secure. It behooves everyone to work for common goodness.  Security and peace are pluralistic in nature.

Free Speech and disappointment with Muslim Organizations

After leafing through nearly 50 articles in various News outlets,   I am disappointed in Muslim organizations in how they reacted towards the nasty “Perfect Man” bill boards that went up in Indiana, Texas and elsewhere in the nation.

One of the most cherished values of America is free speech; indeed, it is an Islamic value as well.  If Muslims need to build bridges on common grounds, it would be on free speech. All of us need be on the same page.  Muslims are far behind on the topic.

Muslim responses were that of anger, fear, begging for sympathies and seeking support from others.  Can’t Muslims tolerate that nasty Perfect Man bill board? Are Muslims so thin skinned?  Is their faith so weak that they think Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) will disappear by such bill boards?  Is it easy to provoke them?  Isn’t it? As long as you get irritated, they will do more of it.

Isn’t it the responsibility of Muslim organizations to understand and communicate the meaning of free speech to Muslims?  Every American should fight for his or her right, but without attacking free speech.  The intent is to mitigate conflicts and nurture goodwill – a formula of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

In Huffington Post, we wrote, “Muslims Respond to ‘Perfect Man’ Bill boards’ and offered solutions and invoked responsibility for Muslims and Christians to do the right thing – accept and respect free speech. All the issues related with it and quotes from Quran, Prophet Muhammad and Jesus are included in the following article at Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/59409a76e4b03e17eee087eb

It is also published at the Center for Pluralism: http://centerforpluralism.com/muslims-respond-to-perfect-man-prophet-muhammad-pbuh-bill-boards/

Just take a look some of the titles – a sheer lack of knowledge on first amendment, Google for “Muslims respond to the Perfect Man (Muhammad pbuh) you will find over 50 news items – all negative responses.

  1. Muslims React to Bill Board insulting Prophet Muhammad
  2. Indy Muslims call out creators of local billboards that insults Prophet Muhammad
  3. Muslims outraged by billboard that insults Prophet Muhammad
  4. Bill board disparaging Prophet sparks outrage from Muslims
  5. Muslims says bill board insults Islam and need to be taken down

America solidly stands on free speech, Muslims will continue to clash with fellow Americans if they do not understand Free Speech.  We will be happy to arrange for a workshop on free speech and its implications at a Mosque or Muslim gatherings.

The Center for Pluralism has consistently offered pluralistic solutions on issues of the day, we are in the news every week- if you are in the business of serving public, be there every week and serve the community.

Last week we offered solutions on Anti-Sharia Rally.

Over the last 20 years, we have brought actions and solutions to a variety of issues including: Quran Burning Pastor Terry Jones in Mulberry, Florida and Quran bashing pastor Robert Jeffress in Dallas, Texas.  We were involved in Ground Zero Mosque and have responded to Fitna film by Geert Wilders.  We have provided standard responses to non-sense spewed by Noni Darwish, Walid Shoebet, Wafa Sultan, Front Page Magazine, and a host of others. This week we will respond to all the items on this nasty bill board. They are not a fact but fiction.

We have organized the first Muslim Intra-faith conference with Shia, Sunni and Ahmadiyya Muslims at University of Houston and many conferences and events. We have visited every Muslim denomination mosque during Ramadan and chronicled at www.RamadanNews.com.Talking about Muslim unity is fine, but actually doing the work is better.

We have chosen to work with all of humanity including those who appear to be Anti-Muslim including –  Frank Gaffney, David Horowitz,  Robert Spencer, Robert Spencer, Brigitte Gabriel, Pamela Geller, John Bolton, Jamie Frank and several others.

We will continue to do this work with your support. Please donate online at: https://www.paypal.me/AmericansTogether

July 4th event by Muslims for America and the Center for Pluralism

Washington, D.C., Jun 30, 2017 – The Center for Pluralism and its Board of Directors have every reason to be jubilant.  Each successive year, they see the vision of the Founding Fathers coming to life, where every American is treated with dignity and respect.

Mike Ghouse, President of the Center said, “We are not a perfect union yet, but a perfect union we will be, as we can continue our efforts to be an inclusive society. The Fourth of July should not simply come and go; we must make it a remarkable day. It should be a great happening to augment National Integration, where Americans of all faiths, or no faith, races, ethnicities, nationalities, political, sexual and other orientations come together to celebrate the oneness of our nation. “

This year the Muslim contributions to America are highlighted.  Each one of the Board Members is excited. Dr. Karen Hollie-Thibodeuax, Fatima Argun, Sam Madden, Dana Lankford-Russell and the supporting team members OS Modgil and Ali Azhar Fateh have provided extensive support.  The encouragement and long term support for Pluralism came from Ambassador Sada Cumber, Mr. Farooq Wazir Ali and Professor Emeritus Dr. Harbans Lal who are genuinely committed to a cohesive America.

Muslims have been contributors towards the wellbeing of the United States of America from the very beginning; the declaration of independence on July 4th, 1776 per Wikipedia.  Morocco’s Sultan Muhammad III was the first world leader to recognize the sovereignty of the United States followed by Nederland’s Johannes de Graaf and Tipu Sultan of Mysore (India).  The legend has it that Tipu Sultan had fire crackers going up in Sriranga Patna, his Capital cheering America’s independence. He faced the same enemy that the United States had faced: Lord Cornwallis.
