Every now and then evil creeps into the society and tears
the harmony and enflames the sparks of hatred against fellow Americans. Right now,
in Kentucky we have a Robert Ransdell, a write-in candidate running for the US Senate
with campaign signs that read, “With Jews we Lose” and this needs to be
countered peacefully.
Do you think we should hold a rally against Robert Ransdell
to make the point that, we the Americans will stand up for each other and will
not allow anyone to tear the cohesive fabric of America? We are one nation indivisible.

There was a man by the name of Fred Phelps, who is no more,
and who held rallies against Jews, Gays and Lesbians, Immigrants and others. How
do we counter such vitriol?

We counter it by standing up with Jews, Gays and Lesbians
and the immigrants.  Indeed, I was questioned
by several including a few Jews who asked me, who the hell was I to stand up
for Jews?  My answer was simple – if we
don’t stand up for others, why should anyone standup for us? A few Muslims
asked, would Jews stand up for Muslims? My answer was it does not matter what
others do, what matters is what I do? And how I contribute towards a cohesive
America, where no American has to live in apprehension, anxieties or fear of
the other.

By the way, all the good people will stand up for the others.

A few of the many things we have done;

We dealt with another Bigot, a Kentucky State Senator a few
years ago: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mike-ghouse/senator-williams-offend-hindus_b_1075392.html

Should You?

Fred Phelps, one of the most hated men in America
is dead; an eviction notice is in order. http://nabsites.net/demo/fred-phelps-one-of-most-hated-men-in/

When I wrote a note about this on Facebook, I received
questions, why do you take a stand against free speech, and invariably they ask
me, you stood up for free speech of  Pastor Jones’s hatred of Quran burning and why
don’t you let this dude put up his signs?
Agreed, and that is what we are thinking of doing – to peacefully make a
point that Robert Ransdell can do his bit, and we will do ours, as we did with
Pastor Jones and several such incidents.
The shameful behavior of a few bad Jews, Christians, Hindus
and others who cheered on the death and destruction of the people of Gaza and
Palestine is pathetic.  None of us should
have cheered the prejudices we displayed against Palestinians, Gazans and
others during the recent crises.  We can
repent our misdeeds and go forward.
Here is the bottom line:   If you
cheer Anti-Semitism, you are approving Hinduphobia and Islamophobia if you are
Hindu and a Muslim respectively, and if you cheer Islamophobia. If you support homophobia, you are approving Anti-Arabism,
or hatred for Palestinians, you are approving Anti-Semitism and Anti-other
sentiments.

We all should stand up against these divisive evils like Anti-Semitism,
Islamophobia, Racism, Xenophobia, Misogyny, Racism, Homophobia and other evils
of the society.

Do you think we should hold a rally against Robert Ransdell to make the point
that, we the Americans will stand up for each other and will not allow anyone
to tear the cohesive fabric of America? We are one nation indivisible.
